Generating Company means any company or body corporate or association or body of individuals, whether incorporated or not, or artificial juridical person, which owns or operates or maintains a generating station;
Western means the Board of Trustees of Western Michigan University and the administrative agents of said Board.
Operating Company has the meaning set forth in the preamble.
Gas company means any person distributing gas within the corporate limits or authorized and proposing to so engage.
Distribution Company means a distribution company as defined in Section 1 of Chapter 164 of the Massachusetts General Laws.3
boycott energy company means “without an ordinary business purpose, refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with a company because the company (a) engages in the exploration, production, utilization, transportation, sale, or manufacturing of fossil fuel-based energy and does not commit or pledge to meet environmental standards beyond applicable federal and state law, or (b) does business with a company described by paragraph (a).” (See Tex. Gov. Code 809.001). When applicable, does Vendor certify? Solar energy means the sun used as the sole source of energy for producing electricity.
Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.
Net Energy The total quantity of electric energy (measured in kilowatt hours) produced by the Facility over a given time period and delivered to the Point of Interconnection, as measured by the revenue meter. "Net Energy" the equivalent of "Actual Output."
LP means the aggregate quantity of Lost Production during such Month (expressed in MWh) and
Natural gas company ’ means a person engaged in the transportation of natural gas in interstate commerce, or the sale in inter- state commerce of such gas for resale.
Community Contribution Company means a corporation formed under the laws of British Columbia that includes in its articles the following statement:

energy poverty means a household’s lack of access to essential energy services that underpin a decent standard of living and health, including adequate warmth, cooling, lighting, and energy to power appliances, in the relevant national context, existing social policy and other relevant policies;
Company has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
COP means the conference of the parties to the Convention;
ITT means the Purchaser’s invitation to tender dated (date ITT issued).
Clean energy means energy produced from Renewable Energy Resources (as defined below), eligible energy sources, and by means of advanced technologies that cost- effectively capture and sequester carbon emissions produced as a by-product of power generation. For purposes of this definition, “cost” means all those costs as determined by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Colorado (“PUC”).
Partnership has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
Wireline means a cable containing one or more electrical conductors which is used to lower and raise logging tools in the well-bore.
CERC means Central Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Partnership Group means the Partnership and its Subsidiaries treated as a single consolidated entity.
Community basin means an infiltration system, sand filter designed to infiltrate, standard constructed wetland, or wet pond, established in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:8-4.2(c)14, that is designed and constructed in accordance with the New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual, or an alternate design, approved in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), for an infiltration system, sand filter designed to infiltrate, standard constructed wetland, or wet pond and that complies with the requirements of this chapter.
Comcast means Comcast Corporation, a Pennsylvania corporation.
General partnership means an organization formed under chapters 45-13 through 45-21.
