Source Separated Organic Materials definition

Source Separated Organic Materials means materials that:
Source Separated Organic Materials means Source-Separated Compostable Materials and Source-Separated Animal-Feed Materials.
Source Separated Organic Materials means material that: a) are separated at the source by waste generators for the purpose of preparing them as compost or other processing; b) area collected separately from mixed municipal solid waste; and c) are compromised of organic waste, including but not limited to: food wastes, fish and animal waste, plant materials, diapers, sanitary products, and paper.

  • Contractor shall Collect Source Separated Organic Materials or Plant Materials from Multi-Family Residential Complexes that have subscribed to Organic Materials or Plant Materials Collection service as frequently as scheduled by Customer, but not less than once per week.

  • Customers may deliver and Contractor shall accept Major Appliances, Bulky Items, Source Separated Targeted Recyclable Materials, Source Separated Organic Materials, tires (i.e., four (4) per Customer, removed from rims, no commercial tires), clean unpainted wood, construction and demolition debris, Universal Waste, E-Scrap and Solid Waste.

  • Contractor shall Collect Source Separated Organic Materials from SFD once per week.

  • Contractor 778 shall Collect Source Separated Organic Materials or Plant Materials from Multi-Family 779 Residential Complexes that have subscribed to Organic Materials or Plant Materials 780 Collection service as frequently as scheduled by Customer, but not less than once 781 per week.

  • Solid and liquid Source Separated Organic Materials (SSOM) will be accepted including food scraps, liquid beverages and fat/oil/grease.

  • Contractor shall Collect Source Separated Organic Materials or 781 Plant Materials from Multi-Family Residential Complexes that have subscribed to 782 Organic Materials or Plant Materials Collection service as frequently as scheduled by 783 Customer, but not less than once per week.

  • Franchisee shall provide Solid Waste Collection as part of the City’s three-Container Collection program for the separate Collection of Source Separated Recyclable Materials, Source Separated Organic Materials, and Solid Waste, in accordance with the applicable Franchise Agreement(s) for each Discarded Material type.

  • To the extent permitted by law, all such policies shall name Landlord and Tenant as insureds, as their interest may appear, and shall provide that they shall not be canceled unless and until not less than thirty (30) days prior written notice of cancellation has been served upon Landlord and Tenant.

  • The City or its designee may waive a Multi-Family’s, Commercial Business’, or its Property Owner’s obligation to comply with some or all of the Source Separated Organic Materials Collection service requirements set forth in this Agreement, SB 1383 Regulations, and the City’s Municipal Code, in the event that the Generator qualifies for a space constraint waiver under the City’s Municipal Code.

  • Excluded from 375 the definition of Solid Waste are Exempt Waste, Source Separated Recyclable Materials and 376 Source Separated Organic Materials.


More Definitions of Source Separated Organic Materials

Source Separated Organic Materials means discarded materials separated from Municipal Solid Waste by the generator and deposited into the organics container for Recycling, including any vegetative matter resulting from normal yard and landscaping maintenance that is not more than three (3) feet in its longest dimension or six (6) inches in diameter and food scraps and trimmings from food preparation, including but not limited to: meat, fish and dairy waste, fruit and vegetable waste, grain waste, Stable Matter, and acceptable food packaging such items as pizza boxes, paper towels, waxed cardboard and food contaminated paper products. Source Separated Organic Materials include plant debris, such as palm, yucca and cactus, ivy, grass clippings, leaves, pruning, weeds, branches, brush, holiday trees, and other forms of vegetative waste. Source Separated Organic Materials does not include items herein defined as Excluded Waste.

  • Organic Materials means, for the purposes of Section 9.4 of the Act, any chemical compound of carbon, including diluents and thinners which are liquids at standard conditions and which are used as dissolvers, viscosity reducers or cleaning agents, including polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins, polychlorinated dibenzofurans and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons but excluding methane, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, carbonic acid, metallic carbonic acid, metallic carbide, metallic carbonates, and ammonium carbonate are not organic materials.

  • Source Separated means the segregation, by the Generator, of materials designated for separate Collection for some form of Recycling, Composting, recovery, or reuse.

  • Pyrophoric material means any liquid that ignites spontaneously in dry or moist air at or below 130° F (54.4° C) or solid, other than one classed as an explosive, which under normal conditions is liable to cause fires through friction, retained heat from manufacturing or processing, or which can be ignited readily and, when ignited, burns so vigorously and persistently as to create a serious transportation, handling, or disposal hazard. Included are spontaneously combustible and water-reactive materials.

  • Qualified high-technology business means a business that is either of the following:

  • Excluded Products means the items described on the applicable restricted products per country, any other applicable Program Policy, or any other information made available to you by LINIO.

  • Source separation means the separation of different kinds of solid waste at the place where the waste originates.

  • Diagnostic source assembly means the tube housing assembly with a beam-limiting device attached.

  • Alternative energy technology means equipment, component parts, materials, electronic devices, testing equipment, and related systems that are specifically designed, specifically fabricated, and used primarily for 1 or more of the following:

  • Authorized aftermarket manufacturer means an organization that fabricates a part under a contract with, or with the express written authority of, the original component manufacturer based on the original component manufacturer’s designs, formulas and/or specifications.

  • Mobile source means a motor vehicle, nonroad engine, or nonroad vehicle. A motor vehicle is a self-propelled vehicle designed for transporting persons or property on a street or highway. A nonroad vehicle is a vehicle powered by a nonroad engine. A nonroad engine is an internal combustion engine that is not used in a motor vehicle or a vehicle used solely for competition, or that is not subject to standards promulgated under section 111 or section 202 of the Act.

  • Automotive hard paste wax means an automotive wax or polish that is:

  • NEC Electronics products means any product developed or manufactured by or for NEC Electronics (as defined above).

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.

  • Public organic record means a record that is available to the public for inspection and is:

  • Excluded Business has the meaning set forth in Section ‎9.1.1.

  • Service-disabled veteran-owned business means a service-disabled veteran-owned business located in the State of Tennessee that satisfies the criteria in Tenn. Code. Ann. § 12-3-1102(8). "Service-disabled veteran" means any person who served honorably in active duty in the armed forces of the United States with at least a twenty percent (20%) disability that is service-connected, i.e., the disability was incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the active military, naval or air service.

  • Inactive business operations means the mere continued holding or renewal of rights to property previously operated for the purpose of generating revenues but not presently deployed for such purpose.

  • Integrated Digital Loop Carrier means a subscriber loop carrier system that is twenty-four (24) local Loop transmission paths combined into a 1.544 Mbps digital signal which integrates within the switch at a DS1 level.

  • Women-owned business concern means a concern which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more women; or in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51 percent of its stock is owned by one or more women; and whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more women.

  • Alternative nicotine product means any vaping product, whether or not it includes nicotine, including electronic smoking devices, that can be ingested into the body by chewing, smoking, absorbing, dissolving, inhaling, or by any other means. ‘Alternative nicotine product’ does not include:

  • Stinger-steered automobile or watercraft transporter means an automobile or watercraft transporter

  • Generation Business means the licensed business (if any) of the Licenseeand any affiliate or related undertaking of the Licensee in the generation of electricity or the provision of Ancillary Services;

  • Business Software means with respect to a Licensor, all Software to the extent Controlled by such Licensor or any of its Affiliates as of the Effective Date, which Software is reasonably required as of the Effective Date for the conduct of (i) the Agriculture Business if the Licensee is AgCo, including as listed on section (i) of Schedule Q, or (ii) the Materials Science Business if the Licensee is MatCo, including as listed on section (ii) of Schedule Q, in each case (in respect of the foregoing (i) and (ii)), only if and to the extent such Licensee and its Affiliates have not been granted a license or other rights to use such Software under the Separation Agreement or any other Ancillary Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Business Software expressly excludes any and all Excluded IP.

  • Aerosol coating product means a pressurized coating product containing pigments or resins that dispenses product ingredients by means of a propellant, and is packaged in a disposable can for hand-held application, or for use in specialized equipment for ground traffic/marking applications.

  • Public Software means any Software that contains, or is derived in any manner (in whole or in part) from, any software that is distributed as free software, open source software (e.g., Linux) or similar licensing or distribution models, including, without limitation, software licensed or distributed under any of the following licenses or distribution models, or licenses or distribution models similar to any of the following: (A) GNU’s General Public License (GPL) or Lesser/Library GPL (LGPL), (B) the Artistic License (e.g., PERL), (C) the Mozilla Public License, (D) the Netscape Public License, (E) the Sun Community Source License (SCSL), (F) the Sun Industry Standards License (SISL), (G) the BSD License, and (H) the Apache License.

  • Company IT Systems means all software, computer hardware, servers, networks, platforms, peripherals, and similar or related items of automated, computerized, or other information technology networks and systems (including telecommunications networks and systems for voice, data, and video) owned, leased, licensed, or used (including through cloud-based or other third-party service providers) by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.
