Solution Proposal definition

Solution Proposal is the description of Customer Requirements and a high level solution overview.
Solution Proposal means that SAP has provided correctional measures as defined in this section For the observance of the stated first reaction period and the Processing Time for correctional measures, the Customer shall be obliged to fulfill with the following prerequisites: - The error tickets relate to Releases which have been released by SAP with the status “Unrestricted Shipment”, - The error tickets are given by the Customer in English, - The error tickets relate to a Release which qualifies as “Mainstream Software Support” or “Extended Software Support” as per Release- strategy of SAP. - The Support Tools, which are required by SAP for the analysis of certain types of errors and which are available to the SAP-Support (for example SAP Solution Manager Diagnostics for java-related errors), are implemented by the Customer. A list of the required Support Tools is made available on the SAP Service Marketplace. The aforementioned first reaction period and Processing Time for correctional measures shall explicitly not apply to error tickets with Priority 1 which relate to releases, versions and/or functions of the software application, which has been developed for the Customer individually, and/or - relating to country versions, which are no integral part of the SAPStandard Software, but which are realized as Partner Add-Ons, extensions or modifications, even if such country versions have been developed by SAP or an associated organization, and/or - the Release qualifies as “Customer-Specific Software Support” as per Release-Strategy of SAP. The aforementioned first reaction period and Processing Time for correctional measures shall apply to error tickets only. Especially the following shall not qualify as such: - Development requests due to missing functionality, - Advisory requests, - General requests for information. Unless SAP delivers an action plan to the Customer, such action plan shall contain the following points: - Status of the resolution process - The next steps which are planned by SAP and the responsible personnel assigned by XXX, - Required cooperation measures by the Customer, - Date and time for the next status update by SAP, - Due dates for the measures initiated by SAP, if possible. SAP shall provide status updates in regular intervals covering the processing of error tickets of the Customer with Priority 1, which contain the following information: - Results of the measures taken so far, - The next planned steps, - Date and time of the next status update. ...

  • Transaction Proposal has the meaning specified in Section 8.02(c).
