Sole Bargaining Agency. The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole bargaining agency on behalf of the employees for whom the Union has been certified as bargaining agent with respect to wages, hours of work, terms and conditions of employment during the life of this Agreement.

Section 2 - Union Security
Sole Bargaining Agency. The Employer recognizes the Poly-party Union of British Columbia Nurses’ Union and Hospital Employees' Union as exclusive bargaining agent for all employees falling within the Bargaining Unit. The Employer recognizes the United Food and Commercial Workers' Union, Local 1518, as the sole bargaining agency on behalf of the employees and for whom the Union has been certified as bargaining agent with respect to wages, hours of work, terms and conditions of employment during the life of the Agreement.

The Employer recognizes the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 882 as the sole bargaining agency on behalf of the employees for whom the Union has been certified. No employee shall be asked to make a verbal or written Agreement or Contract, inconsistent with, or at variance with the terms of this Agreement.

In furtherance of the above, the Ernployer shall provide a filing cabinet with a lock for the exclusive use of the Union, and a safe place to store it. Union Shop Ail employees who are covered by the Union's of Bargaining shall maintain membership in the Union as a of employment Employees who are brought within of the Union's of hired become members of Union bythe first day of third weekly pay period after their initial date of employment in bargaining unit Upon receipt by the Employer of written advice the Union, employees who fail to maintain membership in the Union or the check off of Union dues, or an amount equal to Union dues, shall be terminated by the Employer from their employment of employee within Where the Employer has knowledgeof an employee failing to maintain Unionmembership, or the check off of Union dues, the Employer shall so advise the Union and, in turn, the Union shall advise the employee in When the Employeris advised bythe Union of either of the above, the Employer shall terminate the of the days of written notice as noted above. the event an employee isterminated pursuantto this section, the shall not have access to the grievance procedure, or any notice of termination or pay in lieu of termination.
Sole Bargaining Agency. 1.01 The Employer recognizes the Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local 2309 as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agent for all of its employees as specified by certification on November 22, 1979 by the British Columbia Labour Relations Board and hereby agrees to negotiate with the Union, or any of its authorized committees, concerning all matters affecting the relationship between parties, aiming towards a peaceful and amicable settlement of any differences that may arise between them.
