Solar Projects definition

Solar Projects shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in the Preamble. “SunExchange” shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in the Preamble.
Solar Projects means each of the solar electricity generating facilities acquired, built and operated, or to be acquired or built or operated, by Kapuskasing Solar or any of the Joint Venture Corporations, all of which are the subject of a contract awarded by the Independent Electricity System Operator;
Solar Projects has the meaning given to such term in the Recitals to this Agreement.

Examples of Solar Projects in a sentence

  • These Rules will apply to all Projects that are not Small-Scale Solar Projects, subject to the eligibility provisions below.

  • Except for Small-Scale Solar Projects and Medium-Scale Solar Projects, all Applicants for DG Projects awarded a Certificate of Eligibility are required to submit quarterly reports to the Company and the Office reporting on the progress of construction.

  • Small-Scale Solar Projects and Medium-Scale Solar Projects are not required to submit a Performance Guarantee Deposit or provide an Output Certification.

  • Shared Solar Projects must allocate Bill Credits to at least two (2) and no more than fifty (50) accounts in the same customer class and on the same or adjacent parcels of land.

  • The Applicant and the Customer for the Project may be the same person, or different persons, subject to the eligibility standards in the Solicitation and Enrollment Process Rules for Small-Scale Solar Projects (“Rules”) and this Tariff.

  • Shared Solar Projects can only share Bill Credits with Bill Credit Recipients on the same or adjacent parcel of land as the DG Project.

  • A total of at least 3 MW of capacity shall be carved out exclusively for Small-Scale Solar Projects in each of the first four (4) program years.

  • The Board may recommend and/or the Commission may adopt a new annual MW class target for Small-Scale Solar Projects.

  • Small-Scale Solar Projects can demonstrate completion of items 2 and 3 by the completion of the Renewable Energy Certificate Assignment and Aggregation Form.

More Definitions of Solar Projects

Solar Projects means the 13 ground-mounted solar projects totalling 130 MW to be located across Ontario. “Spy Hill” means the 86 MW natural-gas-fired peaking facility located in eastern Saskatchewan. “Subscription Receipts” means subscription receipts of Northland.

Related to Solar Projects

  • Solar PV Project means the solar Photo Voltaic Power project that uses sunlight for direct conversion into electricity through Photo Voltaic technology.

  • Infrastructure project means any construction or acquisition of treatment works,

  • Projects means the projects identified in Exhibit A to the Agreement and all other projects, any costs of which are included in a Transitional Capital Plan pursuant to the Act or are Recovery Costs, and financed, by payment or reimbursement, with the proceeds of Bonds or Notes.

  • Power Project or “Project” shall mean the Solar power generation facility of Contracted Capacity of ………..[Insert capacity] MW, located at [Insert name of the place] in …. [Insert name of the District and State] having a separate control system, metering and separate points of injection into the grid at Delivery/Interconnection/Metering point at ISTS substation or in case of sharing of transmission lines, by separate injection at pooling point. This includes all units and auxiliaries such as water supply, treatment or storage facilities; bay/s for transmission system in the switchyard, dedicated transmission line up to the Delivery Point and all the other assets, buildings/structures, equipment, plant and machinery, facilities and related assets required for the efficient and economic operation of the power generation facility; whether completed or at any stage of development and construction or intended to be developed and constructed for the purpose of supply of power as per this Agreement;

  • New Project means (a) each facility which is either a new facility, branch or office or an expansion, relocation, remodeling or substantial modernization of an existing facility, branch or office owned by the Borrower or its Subsidiaries which in fact commences operations and (b) each creation (in one or a series of related transactions) of a business unit to the extent such business unit commences operations or each expansion (in one or a series of related transactions) of business into a new market.

  • Sub-project means a specific development project to be carried out by a Beneficiary utilizing the proceeds of a Sub-loan; and

  • Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study means a study conducted by the Transmission Provider (in coordination with the affected Transmission Owner(s)) in accordance with Tariff, Part IV, section 36.2.

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Renewable energy project means (A) a project

  • Infrastructure facility means a building; structure; or networks of buildings, structures, pipes, controls, and equipment, or portion thereof, that provide transportation, utilities, public education, or public safety services. Included are government office buildings; public schools; courthouses; jails; prisons; water treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations; solid waste disposal plants, incinerators, landfills, and related facilities; public roads and streets; highways; public parking facilities; public transportation systems, terminals, and rolling stock; rail, air, and water port structures, terminals, and equipment.

  • Development Project means a project for the development of land within a

  • Infrastructure Improvements means a street, road, sidewalk, parking facility, pedestrian mall, alley, bridge, sewer, sewage treatment plant, property designed to reduce, eliminate, or prevent the spread of identified soil or groundwater contamination, drainage system, waterway, waterline, water storage facility, rail line, utility line or pipeline, transit-oriented development, transit-oriented property, or other similar or related structure or improvement, together with necessary easements for the structure or improvement, owned or used by a public agency or functionally connected to similar or supporting property owned or used by a public agency, or designed and dedicated to use by, for the benefit of, or for the protection of the health, welfare, or safety of the public generally, whether or not used by a single business entity, provided that any road, street, or bridge shall be continuously open to public access and that other property shall be located in public easements or rights-of-way and sized to accommodate reasonably foreseeable development of eligible property in adjoining areas. Infrastructure improvements also include 1 or more of the following whether publicly or privately owned or operated or located on public or private property:

  • Green infrastructure means a stormwater management measure that manages stormwater close to its source by:

  • Generation Interconnection Facilities Study means a Facilities Study related to a Generation Interconnection Request.

  • Capital Projects means the acquisition of any interest in land, including improvements on the

  • generating plant means the generating facility described in Schedule 1 as amended from time to time;

  • Infrastructure improvement means permanent infrastructure that is essential for the public health and safety or that:

  • Construction project means the same as that term is defined in Section 38-1a-102.

  • Redevelopment project means any work or undertaking

  • Clean coal technology demonstration project means a project using funds appropriated under the heading “Department of Energy—Clean Coal Technology,” up to a total amount of $2,500,000,000 for commercial demonstration of clean coal technology, or similar projects funded through appropriations for the Environmental Protection Agency. The federal contribution for a qualifying project shall be at least 20 percent of the total cost of the demonstration project.

  • Commercial project means any project, including, but not

  • Major project means a project comprising of a series of works, activities or services which is intended, in itself, to accomplish a definite and indivisible task of a precise economic or technical nature, which has clearly identified goals and whose total cost exceeds that which is specified in the Framework Agreement;

  • Pilot project means an innovative environmental project that covers one or more designated facilities, designed and implemented in the form of an EMSA. (See Section 52.3 of the Act.)

  • Project Company means Company incorporated by the bidder as per Indian Laws in accordance with Clause no 3.5.

  • Infrastructure means infrastructure serving the County and improved or unimproved real estate and personal property, including machinery and equipment, used in the operation of the Project, within the meaning of Section 4-29-68 of the Code.

  • Generating Facility means the Generating Unit(s) comprising Seller’s power plant, as more particularly described in Section 1.02 and Exhibit B, including all other materials, equipment, systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy and thermal energy, excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land.
