Social Safeguards Framework definition

Social Safeguards Framework means the North East Provincial Council’s Social Safeguards and Risk Monitoring and Management Framework for the Project framework that sets out, among other things: (i) key policy principles for social management; (ii) (i) measures to monitor guide the screening of activities for significant social impacts, and, if necessary, to assist in the mitigation of such impacts; (iii)(ii) procedures to ensure that these principles and measures are appropriately applied; and (iv) (iii) guidelines for capacity building and monitoring;

Examples of Social Safeguards Framework in a sentence

  • The Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework and the Environmental Management Plan.

  • The Recipient shall cause the PMU to collate and submit quarterly consolidated reports on compliance with Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework, giving details of: (a) measures taken in furtherance of the Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework; (b) conditions, if any, which interfere or threaten to interfere with the smooth implementation of Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework, and (c) remedial measures taken or required to be taken to address such conditions.

  • Indigenous Peoples Safeguards means the principles and requirements set forth in Chapter V, Appendix 3, and Appendix 4 (as applicable) of the SPS;

  • Participating Clinical Social Worker means a Clinical Social Worker who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
