Social and Environmental Responsibility means the obligation of the Debtor, the Joint Guarantor, and their Guarantors to maintain, at all times, their operations and business activities, including their facilities, in compliance with current legal standards related to environmental protection and conservation, safety, health, labor aspects, as well as any norm, regulation, standard, manual, or practice whose non-compliance entails some negative impact in general on human health and/or the environment.

  • Occupational Safety and Health Law means any Legal Requirement designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions and to reduce occupational safety and health hazards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and any program, whether governmental or private (such as those promulgated or sponsored by industry associations and insurance companies), designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions.

  • Environmental and Safety Laws means any federal, state or local laws, ordinances, codes, regulations, rules, policies and orders that are intended to assure the protection of the environment, or that classify, regulate, call for the remediation of, require reporting with respect to, or list or define air, water, groundwater, solid waste, hazardous or toxic substances, materials, wastes, pollutants or contaminants, or which are intended to assure the safety of employees, workers or other persons, including the public.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);
