Skilled Nursing Units definition

Skilled Nursing Units means all such facilities, beds or units that are licensed to operate as Skilled Nursing facilities, beds or units in a Seniors Housing Facility.
Skilled Nursing Units means approximately 56 units of skilled nursing units to be constructed as an expansion to the Senior Housing Units, subject to the provisions of Section 3.4 hereof.
Skilled Nursing Units means the skilled nursing units included as part of the Facilities. “SNF Occupancy Requirements” shall have the meaning set forth in Section 426(c) hereof.

Examples of Skilled Nursing Units in a sentence

  • Therapy provided in the Inpatient setting such as, but not limited to, Rehabilitation Facilities, Skilled Nursing Units, Home Health, or intensive day-Hospital programs delivered by Rehabilitation Facilities, are not subject to the time limitation requirements of the outpatient therapies outlined above and are not combined with outpatient services when calculating total accumulated benefit usage.

  • Skilled Nursing Facility means an institution or part thereof that is licensed as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the State of Florida, and is accredited as a Skilled Nursing Facility by The Joint Commission or recognized as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States under Medicare.

  • Skilled Nursing Care means services requiring the skill, training or supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

  • Non-Administrator Skilled Nursing Facility means a Skilled Nursing Facility which does not have an agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan but has been certified in accordance with guidelines established by Medicare.

  • Nursing facility means an institution as defined in Iowa Code chapter 135C. This definition does not include acute care settings.

  • Nursing program means a series of courses leading to an LPN certificate or an ADN degree provided through a Wyoming community college; or a BSN degree or a Master’s degree provided through the University of Wyoming; or, in the case of a candidate for a doctoral degree, provided through an institution offering the required nursing education courses under contract with the WICHE, or in a distance nursing education program provided through a university that is regionally accredited.

  • Living unit means a room, apartment, cottage, or other area within a facility set aside for the exclusive use or control of one or more identified residents.

  • Nursing home-type patients means a patient who has been in hospital more than 35 days, no longer requires acute hospital care, cannot live independently at home or be looked after at home, and either cannot be placed in a nursing home or a nursing home place is not available.

  • Spending unit means the department, bureau, division, office, board, commission,

  • Nursing Service Plan means the plan that is developed by the registered nurse based on an Individual’s initial nursing assessment, reassessment, or updates made to a nursing assessment as a result of monitoring visits. The Nursing Service Plan must describe all licensed nursing services the Individual shall receive and be pursuant to the Individual’s Service Plan.

  • Rooming unit means any room or group of rooms forming a single habitable unit used or intended to be used for living and sleeping, but not for cooking or eating purposes.

  • Nursing services means the provision of individual-specific advice, plans, or interventions by a nurse at a home based on the nursing process as outlined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Nursing services differ from administrative nursing services.

  • Nursing home means that term as defined in section 20109 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20109.

  • Generating Unit means one or more generating equipment combinations typically consisting of prime mover(s), electric generator(s), electric transformer(s), steam generator(s) and air emission control devices.

  • Moving beam radiation therapy means radiation therapy with any planned displacement of radiation field or patient relative to each other, or with any planned change of absorbed dose distribution. It includes arc, skip, conformal, intensity modulation and rotational therapy.

  • Co-pilot means a pilot operating other than as pilot-in-command, on an aircraft for which more than one pilot is required, but excluding a pilot who is on board the aircraft for the sole purpose of receiving flight instruction for a licence or rating.

  • Bargaining Unit means the unit of Employees as described on the Labour Relations Board Certificate.
