Site of Work definition

Site of Work means the immediate locality of the work done or to be done under the contract, including all the land or easements thereto acquired or to be acquired by the Village, and any land, park or highway contiguous to the said work, land or easements, and all temporary or permanent storage place of equipment or material in the work.
Site of Work means the physical place or places at which the Construction Work or service is performed that is necessary to complete the Project or at which a significant portion of the work or service is performed to construct, reconstruct, rehabilitate or alter the Project, if such place is established specifically for the completion of the Project or dedicated exclusively, or nearly so, to the completion of the Project. The site of work includes job headquarters, a tool yard, batch plant, borrow pit or any other location that is established for the purpose of completion of a Project or that is dedicated exclusively, or nearly so, to the completion of the Project. The term does not include a permanent home office, branch plant establishment, fabrication plant, tool yard or any other operation of a contractor, subcontractor or supplier, if the location or the continued existence of the operation is determined without regard to the completion of the Project.
Site of Work means the location of the Elevators in the Building(s).

  • All costs of handling, transportation from the specified location to the Site of Work, storage, and installing Airport Authority-furnished Materials shall be included in the unit price bid for the Contract Item in which such Airport Authority-furnished Material is used.

  • Contractor's representative shall normally be present at or about the Site of Work while the Work is in progress.

  • In accordance with NRS 338.020, Contractor shall post the hourly and daily rates of wages to be paid each of the classes of mechanics and workmen on the Site of Work of this Contract, in a place generally visible to the workmen.


More Definitions of Site of Work

Site of Work means the place of work and shall include the land or place necessary for the purpose of access thereto and such other land and place as may be made available to the contractor for the purpose connected with the execution of the contract.
Site of Work means the SFF, the BFF East End, and the BFF West End, including their respective extraction well fields and collection piping and appurtenances.

  • Scope of Works means the sections of the RFQ detailing the technical requirements of the work to be carried out as existing at the Date of Acceptance of the Quotation and any modification of such Works thereafter directed or the use of which has been permitted by the Superintendent for the purposes of the Contract.

  • Place of Work means the designated site or location where the Work products are to be finally or permanently constructed or installed;

  • Development Work means the conduct of preclinical and clinical trials, the compilation of the regulatory dossier concerning Licensed Products and the conduct of other work necessary or useful for obtaining Regulatory Approval of Licensed Products.

  • Contract Work means everything required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more of the parts of the Contract referred to in Article 1, except Extra Work as hereinafter defined.
