Similar Position means
Similar Position shall be as defined in Appendix A. 1:19 “Spouse” shall mean a person:
Similar Position means a position at the same salary band and which, despite some differences in the responsibilities, requires similar qualifications and/or experience, skills and competencies, to those set out in the vacancy notice relating to the selection procedure as a result of which the list of suitable candidates was drawn up.

Examples of Similar Position in a sentence

  • After your Termination Date, the offer of a Similar Position will not cause you to be considered not to have a Layoff or otherwise affect your eligibility for Severance Benefits.

More Definitions of Similar Position

Similar Position will mean an appointment to a position within the District within the same category as the last grade taught. The categories are as follows: Primary (K-2), Intermediate (3-5), Middle school (6-8). XX will return to a vacant TK or Primary position.
Similar Position means a subject or grade for which the unit member is qualified and certificated. It may be at a different school.
