Sickness or Disease definition

Sickness or Disease means the alteration of a person’s state of health resulting from internal or external cause(s), creating objectively verifiable symptoms and/or signs, and revealing itself by the impairment of physiological or mental functions.
Sickness or Disease means noticeable change in the physical health of an Insured occurring during the Domestic Trip or International Trip which requires the Insured to seek care of a Medical Practitioner acting within the scope of his/her license to treat Sickness for which the claim is made provided the nature of illness is not excluded from the Policy.
Sickness or Disease means noticeable change in the physical health of an Insured occurring during the Overseas Trip which requires the Insured to seek care of a Medical Practitioner acting within the scope of his/her license to treat Sickness for which the claim is made provided the nature of illness is not excluded from the Policy.

Examples of Sickness or Disease in a sentence

  • The injury caused by the Accident must be the basis of claim but in no event shall Injury mean Sickness or Disease howsoever caused unless caused by an Accident.

  • Chronic delinquency" shall mean failure by Tenant to pay Basic Rent, or any other payments required to be paid by Tenant under this Lease within three (3) days after written notice thereof for any three (3) occasions (consecutive or non-consecutive) during any twelve (12) month period. In the event of a chronic delinquency, Landlord shall have the right, at Landlord's option, to require that Basic Rent be paid by Tenant quarterly, in advance.
