Sick Leave Defined definition

Sick Leave Defined. Sick leave means the period of time when an Employee is permitted to be absent from work by virtue of being sick or disabled by an accident for which compensation is not payable under the Worker's Compensation Act. An employee shall receive pay for straight time lost on the day of a compensable accident.
