Shortfall Energy definition

Shortfall Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 9.1.
Shortfall Energy means an amount calculated as the difference between the planned firm energy amounts from a resource in an identified period and a smaller amount of energy actually produced by that resource in the same identified period. Planned firm energy amounts are the amounts listed in section 2 of Exhibit A for Specified Resources.
Shortfall Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 5.3.

Examples of Shortfall Energy in a sentence

  • On or before the fifteenth (15th) day following the end of each month, Seller shall render to Buyer an invoice for the payment obligations incurred hereunder during the preceding month, based on the Qualified Clean Energy and Qualified Shortfall Energy, as applicable, Delivered in the preceding month, and associated Environmental Attributes deposited in Buyer’s GIS account or a GIS account designated by Buyer to Seller in writing in the preceding month.

  • Any such Internal Bilateral transactions will specify the hourly delivery of Scheduled Qualified Clean Energy or Qualified Shortfall Energy and will be entered into daily, with any necessary adjustments being made pursuant to ISO-NE settlement protocols, and Seller will not receive any payment associated with a Marginal Loss Revenue Fund allocation in connection with any such Internal Bilateral transactions.

  • If the result of this subtraction is less than 0, then the Shortfall Energy Repayment Price is 0.

  • All metering associated with the Hydro-Québec Power Resources shall be sufficient to permit the Metered Output to be tracked in the GIS to ensure unit-specific accounting of the Delivery of Qualified Clean Energy or Qualified Shortfall Energy to enable the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to accurately account for such Qualified Clean Energy or Qualified Shortfall Energy in the state greenhouse gas emissions inventory, created under chapter 298 of the Acts of 2008.

  • Title to and risk of loss related to (a) Qualified Clean Energy shall transfer from Seller to Buyer at the Delivery Point and (b) Qualified Shortfall Energy shall transfer from Seller to Buyer at the Delivery Point or the NEMASSBOST Hub, as applicable.

Shortfall Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 9.1. “Shortfall Damages” has the meaning set forth in Section 9.3.
Shortfall Energy. The difference (kWh) between the actual annual Net Energy delivered to Idaho Power and the Annual Net Energy Amount specified in paragraph 6.2 of this Agreement for the same Contract Year.
Shortfall Energy means (in kWh) the Contract Capacity (prorated, for a partial hour, to reflect the actual percentage of the hour that was subject to a Dispatch and, for a Dispatch of less than all of the DR Resource, to reflect the actual percentage of the Contract Capacity that was subject to a Dispatch) less the Hourly Recorded Reduction for that hour. No “Shortfall Energy” shall exist with respect to an hour if the Hourly Recorded Reduction is greater than or equal to the Contract Capacity in such hour.
Shortfall Energy. For any Agreement Year, shortfall of Net Electrical Output and NPMV against the Degraded Output Threshold, for which liquidated damages are due, as calculated pursuant to Section 9.3.
Shortfall Energy. For any Agreement Year, the shortfall, if any, in the electricity generated by the Complex and calculated as follows: SEFY = (DABE – AMEY) – CEY Where: SEFY = Shortfall Energy, not being a negative number, for the relevant Agreement Year, DABE = the Degraded Annual Benchmark Energy, AMEY = the aggregate of Monthly Energy for all Months in the relevant Agreement Year, CEY = Cumulative Credit Energy, if any, standing to the credit of the Seller in the Shortfall Energy Account.
Shortfall Energy means (in kWh) the applicable Load Drop Amount less the SLAP Recorded Reduced Energy for that hour. For purposes of this Section 3.3(g), the Load Drop Amount shall be expressed in kWh.
Shortfall Energy means (in kWh) the Contract Capacity less the Hourly Recorded Reduction for that hour.
