Shop Committee definition

Shop Committee is used, it shall mean Shop or Camp Committee, members of which are appointed by the Union.

  • No member of the Shop Committee will be recognized by the Company unless the above procedure is carried out.

  • Should a discharged employee or the Union representative and the Plant Shop Committee consider the discharge to be improper, a complaint shall be presented in writing through the Plant Shop Committee to the designated Labour Relations Representative within forty-eight (48) hours of the discharge.

  • Matters pertaining to the interpretation or application of this agreement and disputes over such matters will be discussed and adjusted by the Company and this Shop Committee as provided for in Sections 7.04 and 7.05.

  • The Local Union shall notify the Company by letter of the amount of back dues owed by new employees and copies of such letter shall be furnished to the employee and the Shop Committee.

Related to Shop Committee

  • CSR Committee means the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Board referred to in section 135 of the Act.

  • Selection Committee means a committee of individual(s) who evaluate and rank proposals; conduct negotiations; and makes a contract award recommendation to the District and its respective Committees.

  • Plan Committee means a committee of two or more directors appointed by the Board to administer the Plan.

  • Oversight Committee means the committee established to monitor the overall implementation of the Canada-Ontario-AMO-Toronto Agreement.

  • Operating Committee means the Operating Committee of Epoch which meets frequently and is responsible for implementing the Company’s strategy, making operational decisions and overseeing the day-to-day running of the Company.

  • Executive Committee means a group of directors elected or appointed to act on behalf of, and within the powers granted to them by, the Commission.

  • Ethics Committee means an independent body established in a Member State in accordance with the law of that Member State and empowered to give opinions for the purposes of this Regulation, taking into account the views of laypersons, in particular patients or patients' organisations;

  • Advisory Committee means the Employer's Advisory Committee as from time to time constituted.

  • Procurement Committee means a Committee constituted by the Employer to perform the functions as such under the terms and conditions of Contract.

  • Coordinating Committee means the committee designated and elected as provided in section 16d in connection with a township consolidation.

  • Administrative Committee means the committee in charge of Plan administration, as described in Article VII.
