Shift Differential Compensation. Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
Shift Differential Compensation. The District pays premium pay for shift work, calculated as a percentage of the Unit Member’s base pay and longevity pay, as follows:
Shift Differential Compensation. A classified employee regularly assigned so that one-half or more of his/her daily work schedule is between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. shall receive a shift differential premium of five percent (5%) above the regular rate of pay.
Shift Differential Compensation. Any unit member required to work four (4) or more hours per day between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight shall be paid an additional seven and one-half percent (7-1/2%) of the regular rate of pay for the entire month, providing the assignment is one-half (1/2) or more of the working days in the month. Any unit member required to work four (4) or more hours per day between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. shall be paid an additional ten percent (10%) of the regular rate of pay for the entire month, providing the assignment is one-half (1/2) or more of the working days in the month.
Shift Differential Compensation. 20.8.1 Any regular full-time employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences between 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of two and one-half percent (2-1/2%) above regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
20.8.2 An employee receiving differential compensation on the basis of his shift shall not lose compensation if he/she is temporarily, for 20 working days or less, assigned to a shift not entitles to such compensation. The regular rate of pay for all purposes of an employee assigned to a shift which provides differential compensation shall be the differential rate.
Shift Differential Compensation. 6.10.1 All positions the regularly assigned time of which require the incumbent to work one-half times or more between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, shall be paid at monthly rates one step higher than the range for daytime employees, a total of 5.75 percent for the second shift, and two steps higher for the third shift.
6.10.2 Employees assigned to night work on a continuous basis who are ordered to temporary daytime work shall suffer no reduction in compensation by reason of the change.
Shift Differential Compensation. 3.13.1 Any unit member whose assigned shift includes work past seven (7:00) p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five percent (5%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
3.13.1.1 Between twelve midnight (12:00) and six (6:00) a.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of ten percent (10%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
3.13.1.2 For personal convenience, to accommodate commute or family issues, an employee may propose a start time prior to six (6:00)

Shift Differential Compensation. 5.6.1 Any employee in the bargaining unit who is assigned a traditional 8-hour work shift commences between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. inclusive shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
a. m. (midnight) shall be paid a shift differential premium of seven and one- half (7.5) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked. Shift differentials are not paid if the employee is working the shift based on overtime pay, unless the employee has worked for four (4) or more such shifts during the pay period.
5.6.2 An employee who receives a shift differential premium on the basis of his/her shift shall suffer no reduction in pay, including differential, when assigned temporarily to a day shift.
Shift Differential Compensation. 5.9.1 Any member of the bargaining unit, whose normally assigned work shift commences between 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five percent (5%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
5.9.2 A unit member who receives a shift differential premium on the basis of the employee’s shift shall suffer no reduction in pay, including differential, when assigned temporarily to a day shift. Differential premium pay shall not be paid when an employee is reassigned to a different schedule during school recess periods.
