Share Units definition

Share Units means the hypothetical Shares that are credited to the Share Unit Accounts in accordance with Article 7.

Share Units means the number of units under a Share-Based Award that is payable solely in cash or is actually paid in cash, determined by reference to the number of shares of Stock by which the Share-Based Award is measured.

Share Units means Deferred Share Units, Performance Share Units and Restricted Share Units, including any Dividend-Equivalent Rights granted with respect to a Deferred Share Unit, Performance Share Unit and/or Restricted Share Unit.

Examples of Share Units in a sentence

• Unless directed otherwise pursuant to Employee’s deferral election, the delivery of shares of Common Stock in satisfaction of such Performance Share Units shall be made as soon as administratively feasible after the end of the Performance Period.

• Notwithstanding any discretion in the Plan, the Award of Restricted Share Units shall be settled in Shares only.

• This Appendix B includes special terms and conditions that govern Restricted Share Units if the Participant resides and/or works in one of the countries listed below.

• Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Award Agreement, settlement of the Restricted Share Units is conditioned on the Company’s obtaining a registration of the Plan with SAFE and on the continued effectiveness of such registration (the “SAFE Registration Requirement”).

Share Units means the number of units under an Award (or portion thereof) that is payable solely in cash or is actually paid in cash, determined by reference to the number of shares of Stock by which the Award (or portion thereof) is measured.

Share Units means Restricted Share Units granted to Participant under the Plan subject to such terms and conditions as the Committee may determine at the time of issuance.

Share Units means Performance Share Units and Restricted Share Units, as applicable, and “Share Unit” means any one of them;

Share Units means Deferred Share Units, Performance Share Units and Restricted Share Units.

Share Units means notional units of Inland Lodging. Prior to any issuance of any Shares upon the vesting of a Share Unit, a Share Unit shall not comprise or convey to the Executive any right, title or interest in actual ownership of Inland Lodging or any Shares.

Share Units means a bookkeeping entry representing the equivalent of one Share awarded to a Grantee pursuant to Section 10.

Share Units means the hypothetical Shares that are credited to the Participant’s Retirement Account in accordance with Article 5.
