Share Unit Account definition

Share Unit Account means the notional account maintained for each Participant to which Share Units are credited.

Share Unit Account means the account described in Article 7, which is deemed invested in Shares.

Share Unit Account means the portion of the Participant’s Account that is deemed invested in Shares.

Examples of Share Unit Account in a sentence

• Where a Participant has been granted one or more RSUs or PSUs, such RSUs and PSUs (and related Dividend Share Units) shall be recorded separately in the Participant’s Share Unit Account.

• For greater certainty, where a Participant is granted both RSUs and PSUs, such RSUs and PSUs shall be recorded separately in the Participant’s Share Unit Account.

• Upon settlement of such Share Units, the corresponding number of Share Units credited to the Participant’s Share Unit Account shall be cancelled and the Participant shall have no further rights, title or interest with respect thereto.

• Share Units that fail to vest or that are settled in accordance with Section 10.1 shall be cancelled and shall cease to be recorded in the Participant’s Share Unit Account as of the date on which such Share Units are forfeited or cancelled under the Plan or are settled, as the case may be.

• Dividend Share Units credited to a Participant’s Share Unit Account in accordance with this Section 8.2 shall be subject to the same vesting and settlement conditions applicable to the related RSUs or PSUs.

More Definitions of Share Unit Account

Share Unit Account means a book account maintained by the Company reflecting the Share Units allocated to a Participant pursuant to Section 6 hereof as a result of the Participant's Mandatory Conversions and Voluntary Conversions and such additional Share Units as shall be credited thereto in respect of dividends paid on Common Stock.

Share Unit Account means the account under which a Participant’s Share Units are credited, which Account shall consist of a Deferred Stock Award Share Unit Account, a Restricted Stock Share Unit Account, and a Stock Option Share Unit Account.
