Examples of Severe physical disability in a sentence
Documentation from medical physician or allergist is required.- Presence of acute infection at the site of injection for local anesthesia.- Severe physical disability, cognitive impairment, or developmental disability.
MS are encouraged to cooperate bilaterally and provide without delay relevant information to each other, in accordance with national law and bilateral cooperation arrangement.
Acceptable conditions include: * Toxicity to local anesthesia supported by documentation; * Severe mental retardation; * Severe physical disability; * Uncontrolled management problem; * Extensive or complicated surgical procedures; * Failure of local anesthesia; * Documented medical complications; and * Acute infection that would preclude the efficacy of local anesthesia.
Severe physical disability cases that require ongoing care are often located in managed care facilities but may be in retrofitted home environments as well.
The individual has high-grade AV block (see Policy Guidelines) in the presence of atrial fibrillation or has significant bradycardia and: Normal sinus rhythm with rare episodes of 2 or 3 AV block or sinus arrest (see Policy Guidelines); ORChronic atrial fibrillation; OR Severe physical disability (see Policy Guidelines); OR There is an indication for VDD pacing and the individual may benefit from maintenance of AV synchronous ventricular pacing (see Policy Guidelines).
Note: if the patient meets a Special Population, (HIV/AIDS, Severe physical disability and appropriate distance from Rancho, Star housing resident, Women of reproductive age without significant medical condition) the “Preferred Available Location” selection is limited to that clinic(s).
