Severe Burns definition

Severe Burns means a definite Diagnosis of third degree burns over at least 20% of the body surface.
Severe Burns. Means tissue injury caused by thermal, electrical or chemical agents causing third degree burns to 20% or more of the Body Surface Area as measured by the ‘rule of 9’ of the Lund and Browder Body Surface Chart.
Severe Burns means third degree burns to 20% or more of the body surface or to the whole of the face or the whole of both hands requiring surgical debridement and/or grafting.
