If the Regular or Sessional Employee voluntarily leaves the service of the Board within twenty-four (24) months of receiving funding under this program, they will be required to refund a portion of the funding on the following basis: The full amount of the salary plus benefits paid by the Board less an amount equal to one twenty-fourth (1/24) for each full month employed less than the two (2) years from the date of the completion of their apprenticeship program.
Subject to qualifications being sufficient to perform the work, a Sessional Employee may displace a less senior Sessional Employee in the same classification, or a temporary Employee in an equal or lesser classification for which the Employee is qualified.
Where the seniority of two or more Employees is compared, this shall be done by prorating the seniority accumulated as a Part-time or Sessional Employee.
If successful, and subject to Article 39.04, the period of employment in the Term position shall count as service and seniority upon completion of the Probationary Period as a regular Full-Time, Regular Part Time or Sessional Employee.
