Service Bandwidth definition

Service Bandwidth means the currently contracted bandwidth, typically expressed in Mpbs.
Service Bandwidth is the maximum capacity of a link in Mbps (i.e., millions of bits-per-second). Service Bandwidth includes both data and network overhead (i.e., additional information that is required by the network to route the data to its proper location). The amount of network overhead on a link is affected by network protocols, network packet sizes and types of applications. TERAGO offers Service Bandwidth guarantees on Dedicated Internet services (UIs), TERAGO Internet 100/20 services, Dedicated Private Connectivity services (VLANs) and 100/20 Private Connectivity services. TERAGO Internet 50/10 and 50/10 Private Connectivity services are broadband, best-effort services that do not provide any Service Bandwidth guarantees.

  • The CE-to-CE RTD sample will be included in the calculation of the Location pair’s Monthly average CE-to-CE RTD if: (a) the nominal leased line Tail Circuit or DSL Tail Circuit route is used, and (b) the sample CE-to-CE RTD’s link load does not exceed: (i) 30%, in the case of Service Bandwidth less than or equal to 512 kbps, (ii) 70%, in the case of Service Bandwidth less than or equal to 10 Mbps; or (iii) 85%, in the case of Service Bandwidth greater than 10 Mbps.

  • Transmission Service Provider means the entity that administers the transmission tariff and provides transmission service to transmission customers under applicable transmission service agreements.
