Senior Independent Director definition

Senior Independent Director means the non-executive director appointed as an alternative point of contact for governors and directors when they have concerns that have not been resolved through the normal channels of Chair, Chief Executive, Finance Director or Trust Secretary or for which such contact is inappropriate.
Senior Independent Director means the non-executive director appointed by the Board to provide a sounding board for the Chair and to serve as an intermediary for the other directors when necessary. The Senior Independent Director should also be available to Governors.

Senior Independent Director means a Non-Executive Director nominated to the role of Senior Independent Director in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution;
