SECOND OFFICER definition

SECOND OFFICER when used herein means a flight deck operating crew member other than Captain or First Officer who is assigned to duties aboard the aircraft.
SECOND OFFICER means a pilot who is third in command of the aircraft and its crew members while on flight duty and whose duty is to assist the Captain and First Officer, and who is properly qualified, according to Company requirements, to serve as such, and who holds currently effective Ministry of ‘Transport and other governmental certificates including a valid Commercial Pilot Licence him to act in this capacity;
SECOND OFFICER means a Pilot whose duty is to assist the Captain in the operation of an aircraft who is properly qualified to serve as and holds currently effective Transport Canada or other Governmental certificates authorizing him to serve as Second Officer.
