Second Class Constable definition

Second Class Constable means a constable who has served for a period of at least one (1) year as a Third Class Constable and who has been recommended by the Chief of Police for reclassification to Second Class Constable and such reclassification has been approved by the Board.
Second Class Constable means a Member classified and paid as a Second Class Constable.

Examples of Second Class Constable in a sentence

  • A member will be reclassified successfully to Third Class Constable, Second Class Constable and First Class Constable with a corresponding increase in salary in accordance with Schedule A on completion of each twelve (12) months of service from the date of employment to the classification, provided their performance and efficiency have proved satisfactory to the Chief of Police and only upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police.

  • They will be staffed only by a Second Class Constable or higher rank.

  • In any calendar year in which an Officer above the rank of Second Class Constable is detailed to relieve a Senior Officer who is absent from duty due to illness, vacation, course attendance, detached duties, days off, or who has retired, such relieving Officer shall be paid on the basis of the higher rank so relieved from the date of assumption.

  • Provided that such service is satisfactory to the Chief of Police and on the recommendation of the Chief of Police, the Constable may be promoted to be a Second Class Constable.

  • After a further twelve (12) months of satisfactory service as foresaid the member shall be entitled to the rank and pay of a Second Class Constable.

  • A Second Class Constable shall serve for at least one (1) year as a Second Class Constable.

  • After service satisfactory to the Board and Chief of police for a further twelve (12) months, a Second Class Constable shall be entitled to a promotion to the rank and pay of a First Class Constable.

  • After service satisfactory to the Board and the Chief of police for a further twelve (12) months, a Third Class Constable shall be entitled to a promotion to the rank and pay of a Second Class Constable.

  • Community Report cars staffed by a Second Class Constable or higher rank between the hours of hours and hours to be assigned in each Division as determined by the Winnipeg Police Service.

  • Constables who have reached the classification of Second Class Constable and higher who are assigned as Field Training Officers shall receive a salary adjustment of four percent (4%) above the current level received within their confirmed rank for all time spent during said assignment.

  • Initial Class C Note Balance means $152,941,000.

  • Class Coupon The Class Coupon on each Class of Notes for any Accrual Period will be as set forth in Appendix I for Original Notes and Appendix II for MAC Notes.

  • Class size means the maximum number of students who can receive instruction together in a special class or resource room program and the number of teachers and supplementary school personnel assigned to the class.

  • Settlement Classes means all Persons included in the Electrolytic Settlement Classes and the Film Settlement Classes.

  • Initial Class D Note Balance means $13,564,000.

  • Class 2 A-1 Certificates and Class 1-X Component 2. Group 2 Certificates................ Group 2 Senior Certificates and the Subordinated Component related to Loan Group 2.

  • Preferred claim means a claim with respect to which the terms of this chapter accord priority of payment from the general assets of the insurer.

  • Class C Note Balance means, at any time, the Initial Class C Note Balance reduced by all payments of principal made prior to such time on the Class C Notes.

  • General Unsecured Claims means Claims against any Debtor that are not Secured Claims, Administrative Claims, Priority Claims, Professional Compensation Claims, Intercompany Claims, or Equity Interests.

  • Erroneous Payment Impacted Class has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 11.11(d).

  • Restricted Classes As defined in Section 4.02(e).

  • Class A Note Initial Principal Balance means $750,000,000.

  • Class C Note Principal Balance means, on any date of determination, an amount equal to (a) the Class C Note Initial Principal Balance, minus (b) the aggregate amount of principal payments made to the Class C Noteholders on or prior to such date.
