  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is understood and agreed that such protection of Confidential Information shall be subject to the special requirements of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”), the Student Online Personal Protection Act (“SOPPA”), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), and the Illinois School Student Records Act (“ISSRA”).

  • All information that qualifies as a student record under Family and Educational Rights Privacy Act and the Illinois School Student Records Act shall be handled by the Provider in accordance with those laws If there is a breach of such information (i.e. intentional or unintentional disclosure to a third party by or through Provider or agent of Provider), the Provider shall, immediately upon knowledge of the incident, inform the District of the breach and the data affected.

  • Data As used in this Addendum, School District data means any and all data or information collected, maintained, generated or inferred that alone or in combination personally identifies an individual student or the student’s parent or family, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 34 C.F.R. § 99.3, and the Illinois School Student Records Act, 105 ILCS 10/2 and other non-public information, including student data, meta-data, and user content.

  • Provider, on behalf of itself and its Therapists, further agrees to comply with all state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, the Illinois School Student Records Act, the Illinois Mental Health Act and Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act, the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) and all rules and regulations governing the release of student, personnel, and medical records.

  • Data As used in this Addendum, “School District data” means any data or information collected, maintained, generated, or inferred that alone or in combination personally identifies an individual student or the student’s parent or family, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 34 C.F.R. § 99.3, and the Illinois School Student Records Act, 105 ILCS 10/2 and other non-public information, including student data, metadata, and user content.

  • Student Records Means both of the following: (1) Any information that directly relates to a student that is maintained by LEA and (2) any information acquired directly from the student through the use of instructional software or applications assigned to the student by a teacher or other LEA employee. For the purposes of this Agreement, Student Records shall be the same as Educational Records, and Covered Information, all of which are deemed Student Data for the purposes of this Agreement.   • University Records means records or record systems that Proposer (1) creates, (2) receives from or on behalf of University, or (3) has access, and which may contain confidential information (including credit card information, social security numbers, and private health information (PHI) subject to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 (Public Law 104-191), or education records subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).   • Education records means an education record as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and its implementing regulations, 20 USC Section 1232g and 34 CFR Part 99, respectively.

  • School Site means the land set aside for each type of school, such as Elementary, Junior High, Senior High operated by the School Board, including but not limited to municipal school reserve;

  • Student Personal Information means information collected through a school service that personally identifies an individual student or other information collected and maintained about an individual student that is linked to information that identifies an individual student, as identified by Washington Compact Provision 28A.604.010. For purposes of this DPA, Student Personal Information is referred to as Student Data.

  • Pupil Records Means both of the following: (1) Any information that directly relates to a pupil that is maintained by LEA and (2) any information acquired directly from the pupil through the use of instructional software or applications assigned to the pupil by a teacher or other local educational LEA employee.

  • Patient Data means any electronic data, information or material about a Patient entered into the Software.

  • Student athlete means an individual who engages in, is eligible to engage in, or may be eligible in the future to engage in, any intercollegiate sport. If an individual is permanently ineligible to participate in a particular intercollegiate sport, the individual is not a student-athlete for purposes of that sport.

  • Business Records means all records and information of any description or type created or used in the ordinary course of the operation of the Business.

  • Study Data means all data, databases, documents, reports and other information resulting from, collected or developed in the performance of the Study;

  • Student Data means personally identifiable information, as defined in Section 2-d, from student records that Vendor may receive from the District pursuant to the Master Agreement.

  • Student-Generated Content means materials or content created by a student in the services including, but not limited to, essays, research reports, portfolios, creative writing, music or other audio files, photographs, videos, and account information that enables ongoing ownership of student content.

  • Vital records means certificates or reports of birth, death, fetal death, marriage, dissolution, annulment, and related data.
