Satisfactory academic progress (SAP) means earning at least six (6) non- remedial semester hours per semester if attempted hours are at least six (6) but less than twelve (12) semester hours or earning at least twelve (12) non-remedial semester hours per semester if twelve (12) or more semester hours are attempted and any other criteria as established by the eligible institution.
REASONABLY SAFE FROM FLOODING Means base flood waters will not inundate the land or damage structures to be removed from the floodplain and that any subsurface waters related to the base flood will not damage existing or proposed buildings.
Chinese Medicine Practitioner means a Chinese medicine practitioner who is duly registered with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong pursuant to the Chinese Medicine Ordinance (Cap. 549) of the laws of Hong Kong, but excluding the Insured Person, the Policyholder, an insurance intermediary, an employer, employee, Immediate Family Member or business partner of the Policyholder and/or Insured Person.
Complex or chronic medical condition means a physical,
Flood proofing means any combination of structural and non-structural additions, changes, or adjustments to structures which reduce or eliminate flood damage to real estate or improved real property, water and sanitary facilities, structures and their contents.
Academic and professional matters means the following policy development and implementation matters:
the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children means: • Protecting children from maltreatment• Preventing impairment of children’s mental or physical health or development• Ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care• Taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes
Sole practitioner means an individual incorporated under the laws of the state of Iowa, or an individual in private practice who is providing substance abuse treatment services independent from a program that is required to be licensed in accordance with Iowa Code section 125.13(1).
Satisfactory means satisfactory in the opinion of the Commission;
Community practice protocol means a written, executed agreement entered into voluntarily between an authorized pharmacist and a physician establishing drug therapy management for one or more of the pharmacist’s and physician’s patients residing in a community setting. A community practice protocol shall comply with the requirements of subrule 8.34(2).
Surveyor-General means the Surveyor-General as defined in the Land Survey Act, 1997 (Act No. 8 of 1997);
Certified nurse practitioner means an ARNP educated in the disciplines of nursing who has advanced knowledge of nursing, physical and psychosocial assessment, appropriate interventions, and management of health care, and who possesses evidence of current certification by a national professional nursing association approved by the board.
Virginia Stormwater Management Act means Article 2.3 (§ 62.1-44.15:24 et seq.) of Chapter 3.1 of Title 62.1 of the Code of Virginia.
School of cosmetology means an establishment operated for the purpose of teaching cosmetology.
Reasonable assurance means a high degree of confidence that submitted data and statements are valid.
Regulatory Requirements means all applicable federal and state statutes, regulations, regulatory guidance, judicial or administrative rulings, requirements of Governmental Contracts and standards and requirements of any accrediting or certifying organization, including, but not limited to, the requirements set forth in a Product Attachment.
Certified mills means the lesser of 18 mills or the number of mills of school operating taxes levied by the district in 1993-94.
Gaming License means any license, qualification, franchise, accreditation, approval, registration, permit, finding of suitability or other authorization of a Gaming Authority relating to gaming, the gaming business, the ownership of Gaming Equipment, or the operation of a casino under the Gaming Laws or required by the Gaming Authorities, in each case, which are necessary or appropriate for the ownership and/or operation of the casino gaming operations at the Property, including the lease of the Property to CPLV Tenant for the gaming activities at the Property and the Management Agreement or Replacement Management Agreement, as applicable.
Occupational dose means the dose received by an individual in the course of employment in which the individual’s assigned duties involve exposure to radiation or to radioactive material from licensed or unlicensed and registered or unregistered sources of radiation, whether in the possession of the licensee, registrant, or other person. Occupational dose does not include dose received from background radiation, from any medical administration the individual has received, from exposure to individuals administered sources of radiation or radioactive material and released in accordance with 641—subrule 41.2(27), from voluntary participation in medical research programs, or as a member of the public.
Licensed Independent Practitioner means any individual permitted by law and by the Medical Staff and Board to provide care and services without direction or supervision, within the scope of the individual’s license and consistent with individually granted clinical privileges.
the Academy means the school referred to in Article 4 and established by the Academy Trust;
Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.
New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.
Practice of medicine or osteopathic medicine means the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of
Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework or “IPPF” means the indigenous peoples planning framework for the Investment Program, including any update thereto, agreed between the Borrower and ADB and incorporated by reference in the FFA;
