Sanctions definition

Sanctions means economic or financial sanctions or trade embargoes imposed, administered or enforced from time to time by (a) the U.S. government, including those administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury or the U.S. Department of State, or (b) the United Nations Security Council, the European Union or Her Majesty’s Treasury of the United Kingdom.
Sanctions means any sanction administered or enforced by the United States Government (including without limitation, OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, Her Majesty’s Treasury (“HMT”) or other relevant sanctions authority.

  • The Borrower shall not fund all or part of, any repayment under this Agreement: (x) out of proceeds derived, directly or knowingly indirectly, from any dealings with, or property of, a Sanctioned Person in violation of Sanctions or otherwise in violation of applicable Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering Laws, or Anti-Corruption Laws; or (y) in any other manner that would constitute or give rise to a violation of Sanctions by any party hereto (including any Secured Party).

  • Each Loan Party is in compliance in all material respects with applicable Anti-Money Laundering Laws, Sanctions and Anti-Corruption Laws and has instituted and maintains policies and procedures designed to promote and achieve compliance with applicable Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering Laws and Anti-Corruption Laws.

  • The Borrower will not, directly or knowingly indirectly, use any portion of the Loan proceeds, or lend, contribute or otherwise make available any Loan proceeds to any Subsidiary, joint venture partner or other Person in violation of applicable Anti-Money Laundering Laws, Sanctions or Anti-Corruption Laws.
