Salary Progression definition

Salary Progression means movement of an employee from one salary point within a work level to a higher point within the same work level.
Salary Progression means the evolution within the same job function, with the consequent evolution of the respective Pay Band. This way, a Salary Progression does not imply that there is a functional change which results in a change to the Organizational Group and/or the Salary Group.

  • Salary Progression will continue throughout the period of a Plan.

  • Salary Progression - moderate changes in duties and responsibilities which are at a higher level and/or an increase in the variety and scope of the duties assigned.

  • Subject to clause 6, Salary Progression and Maintenance, these teachers shall then progress along the common incremental salary scale on the anniversary of the first day of the month following the successful completion of the required study.

  • On reaching Step 9 of the common incremental salary scale, such a teacher shall be deemed a three year trained teacher and, subject to clause 6, Salary Progression and Maintenance may progress by annual increments to the top step of the common incremental salary scale.

  • Basic health plan model plan means a health plan as required in RCW 70.47.060(2)(e).

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • Eligible Earnings means the Grantee's base salary (prior to any deferrals under a cash or deferred compensation plan sponsored by the Corporation or an Affiliate) paid during the Plan Year. From time to time the Plan Administrator may, in its sole discretion, establish rules for determining the amounts of Eligible Earnings for employees who become Grantees other than on the first day of a Plan Year as well as any reduction of Eligible Earnings as a result of paid leave of absences.

  • Technical Employees means those employees having special and specific engineering, geological or other professional skills, and whose primary function in Joint Operations is the handling of specific operating conditions and problems for the benefit of the Joint Property.

  • Effective date of enrollment means the first date when an en- rollee is entitled to receive covered benefits.

  • Participating Retail Health Clinic means a Retail Health Clinic which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Flexi Plan means any individual indemnity hospital insurance plan under the VHIS framework with enhancement(s) to any or all of the protections or terms and benefits that the Standard Plan provides to the Policy Holder and the Insured Person, subject to certification by the Government. Such plan shall not contain terms and benefits which are less favourable than those in the Standard Plan, save for the exception as may be approved by the Government from time to time.

  • Salary range is the range of rates between, and including, the minimum and maximum rate currently authorized for the class;

  • Program Year means the annual period beginning January 1 and ending December 31.

  • Non-Participating Retail Health Clinic means a Retail Health Clinic which does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

A “treatability study” is not a means to commercially treat or dispose of hazardous waste.

  • Annual Earnings means your gross annual income from your Employer, not including shift differential, in effect just prior to the date of loss. It includes your total income before taxes. It is prior to any deductions made for pre-tax contributions to a qualified deferred compensation plan, Section 125 plan or flexible spending account. It does not include income received from commissions, bonuses, overtime pay or any other extra compensation or income received from sources other than your Employer.

  • One-hundred-year flood means a flood having a one per cent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year.

  • Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Working level month (WLM) means an exposure to 1 working level for 170 hours (2,000 working hours per year divided by 12 months per year is approximately equal to 170 hours per month).

  • Year of Eligibility Service means where an Employer designates a one or two 12-consecutive-month eligibility waiting period, an Employee must complete at least 1,000 Hours of Employment during each 12-consecutive-month period (measured from his date of Employment and then as of the first day of each Plan Year commencing after such date of Employment); provided, however, if an Employee is credited with 1,000 Hours of Employment in both the initial eligibility computation period and the first Plan Year which commences prior to the first anniversary of the Employee's employment commencement date, the Employee will be credited, for eligibility purposes, with two Years of Eligibility Service. Where an Employer designates an eligibility waiting period of less than 12 months, an Employee must, for purposes of eligibility, complete a required number of hours (measured from his date of Employment and each anniversary thereafter) which is arrived at by multiplying the number of months in the eligibility waiting period requirement by 83 1/3; provided, however, if an Employee completes at least 1,000 Hours of Employment within the 12 month period commencing on his Employment commencement date or during any Plan Year commencing after such Employment commencement date, such Employee will be treated as satisfying the eligibility service requirements.
