Safety and Security Policies has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2(a).
Safety and Security Policies has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2(a). “Separation” has the meaning set forth in the Recitals. “Separation Agreement” has the meaning set forth in the Recitals. “Service Provider” means (a) in the case of Xxxxxxx International Services, Xxxxxxx International or any of its Subsidiaries providing a Xxxxxxx International Service hereunder, or (b) in the case of Xxxxxxx Electronics Services, Xxxxxxx Electronics or any of its Subsidiaries providing a Xxxxxxx Electronics Service hereunder. “Service Recipient” means (a) in the case of Xxxxxxx International Services, Xxxxxxx Electronics or any of its Subsidiaries receiving a Xxxxxxx Electronics Service hereunder, or (b) in the case of Xxxxxxx Electronics Services, Xxxxxxx International or any of its Subsidiaries receiving a Xxxxxxx Electronics Service. “Service Recipient Data” means all of the data and information owned and provided solely by the Service Recipient, or created by the Service Provider solely on behalf, or for the benefit, of the Service Recipient (including any such data and information created by the Service Provider or the Service Recipient using the Service Provider’s computer systems or software) in relation to the provision of the Services. 2 “Service Term” means the term for a particular Service as set forth on Annex B or Annex C, as the case may be. “Services” means the Xxxxxxx International Services or the Xxxxxxx Electronics Services, individually, or the Xxxxxxx International Services and the Xxxxxxx Electronics Services, collectively, as the context may indicate. “Systems” has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2(a). “Term” has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1. “Term Extension” has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.   • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act means the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1936, as amended.

  • Rail Safety Act means the Rail Safety Act 1998 (WA);

  • Agency Workers Regulations means the Agency Workers Regulations 2010;

  • Air pollution means the presence in the outdoor atmosphere of one or more air contaminants in sufficient quantities, and of such characteristics and duration as is, or is likely to be, injurious to human health, plant or animal life, or property, or which unreasonably interferes with enjoyment of life and property.   • Occupational Safety and Health Law means any Legal Requirement designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions and to reduce occupational safety and health hazards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and any program, whether governmental or private (such as those promulgated or sponsored by industry associations and insurance companies), designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions.

  • Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.

  • Flood Insurance Regulations means (i) the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statute thereto, (ii) the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 as now or hereafter in effect or any successor statue thereto, (iii) the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994 (amending 42 USC 4001, et seq.), as the same may be amended or recodified from time to time, and (iv) the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 and any regulations promulgated thereunder.

  • Safety Management System has the meaning given to it in the ISM Code.

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan or "SWPPP" means a document that is prepared in accordance with good engineering practices and that identifies potential sources of pollutants that may reasonably be expected to affect the quality of stormwater discharges from the construction site, and otherwise meets the requirements of this Ordinance. In addition the document shall identify and require the implementation of control measures, and shall include, but not be limited to the inclusion of, or the incorporation by reference of, an approved erosion and sediment control plan, an approved stormwater management plan, and a pollution prevention plan.

  • Union harmonisation legislation means any Union legislation harmonising the conditions for the marketing of products;

  • Safeguard Policy Statement or “SPS” means ADB's Safeguard Policy Statement (2009);

  • Safety Requirements means Prudent Electrical Practices, CPUC General Order No. 167, Contractor Safety Program Requirements, and all applicable requirements of Law, PG&E, the Utility Distribution Company, the Transmission Provider, Governmental Approvals, the CAISO, CARB, NERC and WECC.

  • Safety Standards means all laws, union rules and trade or industry custom or codes of any kind whatsoever, in effect from the date of this Agreement through Final Acceptance of the construction work, pertaining to worker safety and accident prevention applicable to the Project and/or the construction work (including, but not limited to, rules, regulations and standards adopted pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended from time to time).

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);

  • City Policies means any or all (as the context requires) of those procedures, standards and/or standard specifications, requirements, policies and the like listed in Schedule H or notified to the Supplier from time to time, as the same may be updated, modified, expanded, revised, supplemented and/or replaced from time to time by the City (as notified to the Supplier);

  • Loss Absorption Regulations means, at any time, the laws, regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments of the United Kingdom, the PRA, the United Kingdom resolution authority, the Financial Stability Board and/or of the European Parliament or of the Council of the European Union then in effect in the United Kingdom including, without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, any delegated or implementing acts (such as regulatory technical standards) adopted by the European Commission and any regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments adopted by the PRA and/or the United Kingdom resolution authority from time to time (whether or not such regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards or policies are applied generally or specifically to the Company or to the Regulatory Group).

  • health and safety file means a file, or other record containing the information in writing required by these Regulations "health and safety plan" means a site, activity or project specific documented plan in accordance with the client's health and safety specification;

  • Water pollution means the unpermitted release of sediment from disturbed areas, solid waste or waste-derived constituents, or leachate to the waters of the state.
