Rural definition

Rural means those areas designated by USDA as being eligible Rural areas. A list of USDA Rural areas can be accessed on the USDA website at [http://eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov/]
Rural or “Rural Area” means an area: 1) outside Maricopa County and Pima County, Arizona; 2) on Tribal Land; or 3) the Town of Guadalupe as designated under 42 U.S.C. Section 1490.

Rural means outside urbanized areas, as designated in accordance with 23 USC 101, and outside of a business or urban district.
