RPI Index definition

RPI Index means the measure of change in the prices charged for goods and services bought for consumption in the UK produced by the Office for National Statistics;
RPI Index means the All Items Index of Retail Prices as published from time to time by H M Stationery Office or any official publication substituted therefor or if for any reason such index is discontinued or no longer published then such other index as the parties shall agree (such agreement not to be unreasonably withheld) and which fairly shows the movement of retail prices over the period under review provided that in the event of any change in the reference base used to compile the index of retail prices (or such other index selected as aforesaid) the figure to be used after such change shall be the figure at which such index would have stood if the reference base current at the date hereof had been retained
