Rostered Day Off means any day (other than a "Non-working Day" as defined) upon which an employee is not rostered to work any ordinary hours of work: provided that an employee's rostered day off shall be a period of twenty-four hours commencing from the completion of an ordinary-hours work period. 7. - CONTRACT OF SERVICE (1) Subject to sub-clauses (7) and (8) of this clause, an employer must not terminate an employee's employment unless:
Attending physician means the physician who has primary
Rostered Shift means any shift of which the employee concerned has had at least 48 hours notice.
Roster ’ means a list of persons quali- fied to provide services as neutrals.
Pharmacy technician trainee or “technician trainee” means an individual who is in training to become a pharmacy technician and who is in the process of acquiring national certification as a pharmacy technician as provided in rule 657—3.5(155A).
Contractor Personnel means Contractor’s employees and subcontractors (as well as any employees or subcontractors of those subcontractors) performing the Services.
PCP means Primary Care Provider.
Treating physician means an individual who:
Dentist means a registered dental practitioner whose name is included in sub-part A of the first part of the dental list;
Enrollee means any person entitled to health care services from a carrier.
Provider Personnel means all persons employed or engaged by the Provider together with the Provider’s servants, agents, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, Provider’s and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Agreement;
Supervising physician means any physician licensed under Iowa Code chapter 148, 150, or 150A. The supervising physician is responsible for medical direction of emergency medical care personnel when such personnel are providing emergency medical care.
Consulting physician means a physician who is qualified by specialty or experience to make a professional diagnosis and prognosis regarding the patient's disease.
Critical Illness means an illness, sickness or disease or corrective measure as specified in Section 6 of this policy document.
Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.
Advanced emergency medical technician or “AEMT” means an individual who has successfully completed a course of study based on the United States Department of Transportation’s Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Instructional Guidelines (January 2009), has passed the psychomotor and cognitive examinations for the AEMT, and is currently certified by the department as an AEMT.
Physician means a licensed practitioner of medical, surgical, dental, services or the healing arts including accredited Christian Science Practitioner, acting within the scope of his/her license. The treating physician cannot be the Insured, a Traveling Companion, a Family Member, or a Business Partner.
Participating physician means a physician licensed in Virginia to practice medicine, who practices
Trainer means a dentist whose name is included in sub-part A of the first part of the dental list who employs a trainee as an assistant in accordance with paragraph 2 of this Determination;
Customer Specific Training means a private Course organized on demand specifically for Customer.
Personal campaign committee means the committee appointed by a candidate to act for the candidate as provided in this chapter.
Subcontractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a subcontractor.
Provider panel means those providers with which a carrier contracts to provide health care services
Medical Review Officer (MRO) means a licensed physician responsible for receiving and reviewing laboratory results generated by the school district’s drug testing program and for evaluating medical explanations for certain drug tests.
Contractor employee means prime Contractor and subcontractor employees who require agency access to perform work under a CMS contract.
Technician means an individual determined to be qualified to remove or process parts by an appropriate organization that is licensed, accredited, or regulated under federal or state law. The term includes an enucleator.
