Road Safety Act definition

Road Safety Act means the Road Safety Act 1986 (Vic).
Road Safety Act means the Road Safety Act 1986 (Vic). Satellite Navigation Device means a device or devices fitted to a piece of Equipment which uses information from global positioning satellites to record the geographic location of that item of equipment over time and stores that information on a removable data card or similar storage medium. Satellite Tracking System means a vehicle tracking system, including the necessary software and hardware, which uses global positioning satellites or any other technology approved by VicForests to monitor and record the location and movement of vehicles, including the speed, distance travelled, route taken and time taken. Schedules means the Schedules that are attached to this Agreement.

  • Council Regulation means Council Regulation (EC) No. 2100/94 of 27th July 1994 on Community plant variety rights;

  • Health and Safety means, in relation to a recipient or a third person, the prevention of death or serious personal injury,

  • Health and Safety Plan means a documented plan which addresses hazards identified and includes safe work procedures to mitigate, reduce or control the hazards identified;

  • PBR Act means the Plant Breeder’s Rights Xxx 0000 (Cth) as amended from time to time.

  • OHS Regulation means the Workers Compensation Act (British Columbia), including without limitation, the Occupational Health & Safety Regulation (BC Regulation 296/97, as amended by BC Regulation 185/99) enacted pursuant to such Act, all as such Act or Regulations are amended or re-enacted from time to time.

  • Data Protection Act means Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

  • General Data Protection Regulation GDPR" means regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European parliament and of the council as amended from time to time.

  • UCITS Regulations means the European Communities Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations, 2011 (S.I. No. 352 of 2011) (as amended consolidated or substituted from time to time) and any regulations or notices issued by the Central Bank pursuant thereto for the time being in force.

  • Federal Clean Air Act means Chapter 85 (§ 7401 et seq.) of Title 42 of the United States Code.

  • POPI Act means the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 as may be amended from time to time;

  • EU Regulation means a regulation within the meaning of Article 288 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union;

  • Electricity Act means the Electricity Act, 1998, S.O. 1998, c. 15, Schedule A;

  • SEBI Regulations means the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 together with the circulars issued thereunder, including any statutory modification(s) or re-enactment(s) thereof for the time being in force.

  • CFTC Regulations means the rules and regulations promulgated by the CFTC, as amended.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Laws means the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, each as amended, together with all other laws (including rules, regulations, codes, plans, injunctions, judgments, orders, decrees, rulings, and charges thereunder) of federal, state, local, and foreign governments (and all agencies thereof) concerning pollution or protection of the environment, public health and safety, or employee health and safety, including laws relating to emissions, discharges, releases, or threatened releases of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes into ambient air, surface water, ground water, or lands or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport, or handling of pollutants, contaminants, or chemical, industrial, hazardous, or toxic materials or wastes.

  • the 2000 Regulations means the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2000(b); "the 2001 Regulations" means the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2001(c);

  • Data Protection Laws and Regulations means all laws and regulations, including laws and regulations of the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, applicable to the Processing of Personal Data under the Agreement.
