Road Closure definition

Road Closure means that a local road to Your destination or from Your departure point is completely impassable and the operations of that road have been suspended entirely for more than 24 hours due to severe storms, flooding, or Natural Disaster and is substantiated by the department of transportation or state police.
Road Closure means the complete closure of a roadway.
Road Closure means the partial occupancy or full occupancy of any Highway or portion thereof, and shall include any bridge, sidewalk, footpath or boulevard.

Road Closure means the temporary or permanent closing of a Highway;

Road Closure shall be defined as when a main public road is closed by local authorities such as the, NSW Police, Emergency Services, or Local Shire Councils. An employee shall contact their supervisor every hour until the road opens or until half of the rostered shift has passed. If this is the case and the road remains closed the employee is entitled to stand by payment for half their rostered shift, on one occasion, non-cumulative over a 12-month period, with the remaining hours of the rostered shift to be taken as leave without pay or annual leave. If the road opens before half of the rostered shift has passed, the employee will make every effort to attend their rostered shift and will be paid for the full shift as if they attend a full shift. If the employee is able to find an alternative route and consequently attend the rostered shift, then the employer will provide fuel vouchers to compensate for the extra travel via the alternate route. All employees will endeavour to attend all the rostered shifts as part of this agreement.
