Rights of Publicity definition

Rights of Publicity means all rights of publicity and privacy, as defined under applicable Law, including the Use of the names, likenesses, voices, signatures, biographical information, persona and other recognizable aspects of real Persons, and rights to xxx for past Infringement thereof.
Rights of Publicity means the likenesses, physical characteristics, personalities, characters, and personas of the Talent.
Rights of Publicity means all rights of endorsement, publicity rights, or other rights to use the name, likeness, an image, photograph, voice, identity or similar rights.

Examples of Rights of Publicity in a sentence

  • Neither the operation of the Business, nor the Commercialization of any Company Product infringes, misappropriates, dilutes or violates, and, since April 1, 2018, has not infringed, misappropriated, diluted or violated, any Third-Party IP or the Rights of Publicity of any Person.

  • To the extent any Person’s Rights of Publicity are incorporated into any Company Product or otherwise used in connection with the Business, including in any advertising collateral of the Business, the Company Group (and, with respect to the Business, Parent, Seller or its Affiliates other than the Group Companies) has obtained from such Person all necessary rights and consents to use such Rights of Publicity.


More Definitions of Rights of Publicity

Rights of Publicity of a Person shall mean all legal rights, whether under statute or common law rights in the value of the Person’s or a third-party individual’s name, likeness and, in some cases, other attributes of identity including without limitation California Civ. Code § 3344.
Rights of Publicity means all rights of publicity and privacy, including but not limited to the Use of the names, likenesses, voices, signatures, biographical information, persona and other recognizable aspects of real Persons, and rights to sue for past Infringement thereof.

Related to Rights of Publicity

  • Intellectual Property Rights or IPR means copyright, rights related to or affording protection similar to copyright, rights in databases, patents and rights in inventions, semi-conductor topography rights, trade marks, rights in internet domain names and website addresses and other rights in trade or business names, designs, Know-How, trade secrets and other rights in Confidential Information; applications for registration, and the right to apply for registration, for any of the rights listed at (a) that are capable of being registered in any country or jurisdiction; and all other rights having equivalent or similar effect in any country or jurisdiction;

  • Trade Secrets means any trade secrets, confidential business information, concepts, ideas, designs, research or development information, processes, procedures, techniques, technical information, specifications, operating and maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, methods, know-how, data, mask works, discoveries, inventions, modifications, extensions, improvements, and other proprietary rights (whether or not patentable or subject to copyright, trademark, or trade secret protection).

  • Trademarks means any trademark and servicemark rights, whether registered or not, applications to register and registrations of the same and like protections, and the entire goodwill of the business of Borrower connected with and symbolized by such trademarks.

  • Intellectual Property Rights shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 3.1(p).

  • Third Party Intellectual Property Rights means any Intellectual Property owned by a third party.
