Retirement Factor definition

Retirement Factor means $100,000 indexed annually by 4% beginning September 30, 1998 or such other amount and index factor specified by the Board in its sole discretion and listed on Appendix A next to the name of the Executive. In the event that no amount or index is specified on Appendix A next to the name of the Executive, the Retirement Factor shall be $100,000 indexed annually by 4% beginning September 30, 1998.

Examples of Retirement Factor in a sentence

  • If an early retirement benefit is paid, the Early Retirement Factor shall be based on the months by which commencement of the benefit precedes age 60.

  • For early retirement prior to age 65, the Supplemental Benefit is reduced by the Supplemental Early Retirement Factor.

  • The Enhanced Benefit will be reduced for early retirement prior to the participant’s Enhanced Unreduced Retirement Age (but not for early retirement on or after the participant’s Enhanced Unreduced Retirement Age) by the Enhanced Early Retirement Factor.

  • The death benefit shall be a percentage of the participant's Accrued Benefit as of the date of death, based on an Early Retirement Factor of 100 percent.

  • The monthly Security Plan Retirement Benefit shall be equal to the Target Retirement Percentage, multiplied by the Early Retirement Factor and by the Participant's Final Average Monthly Compensation, less the amount of the Participant's retirement benefit under the Retirement Plan Normal Form of Benefit payable at the Participant's Early Retirement Date.

  • If payment of the Participant's vested Normal Retirement Benefit commences after the Participant's Normal Retirement Date, the Participant shall be entitled to a retirement benefit that is equal to his Normal Retirement Benefit multiplied by the applicable Deferred Retirement Factor determined in accordance with Schedule A 2.

  • The Company shall pay to Executive a lump sum cash payment equal to the product of (i) the Classification Factor (or, if less, the Retirement Factor) and (ii) the greater of (x) the Perquisites Allowance paid or payable by the Company to Executive for the Termination Year and (y) the Perquisites Allowance paid or payable by the Company to Executive for the fiscal year immediately preceding the commencement of the Coverage Period.

  • Fit factor means a quantitative estimate of the fit of a particular respirator to a specific individual, and typically estimates the ratio of the concentration of a substance in ambient air to its concentration inside the respirator when worn.

  • Retirement Date means the date as of which a Participant retires for reasons other than Total and Permanent Disability, whether such retirement occurs on a Participant's Normal Retirement Date or Late Retirement Date (see Section 6.1).

  • Normal Retirement Date means the later of the Normal Retirement Age or Termination of Employment.

  • Retirement Eligibility means attainment of age 60 and completion of at least five (5) years of continuous service with the Company.

  • Discount Factor means the percentage discount applied to additional APCs when more than one APC is provided during the same visit (including the same APC provided more than once). Not all APCs are subject to a discount factor.

  • Social Security Retirement Age means the age used as the retirement age under Section 216(l) of the Social Security Act, applied without regard to the age increase factor and as if the early retirement age under Section 216(l)(2) of such Act were 62.

  • Retirement Age means the earlier to occur of:

  • Disability Retirement Date means the first day of the month following the last day of paid employment;

  • Normal Retirement Age means the Executive's 65th birthday.

  • Earliest Retirement Age means the earliest date on which, under the Plan, the Participant could elect to receive retirement benefits.

  • Deferred Retirement Date means, in the case of any Participant who continues in employment after his Normal Retirement Date, the first day of any month following his actual retirement.

  • Normal Retirement means retirement from active employment with the Company or any Subsidiary on or after age 65.

  • Accumulation Period Factor means, for any Collection Period, a fraction with:

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Early Retirement Date means the Retirement, as defined below, of the Executive on a date which occurs prior to the Executive attaining sixty-two (62) years of age, but after the Executive has attained fifty-five (55) years of age.

  • Defined Benefit Fraction means a fraction, the numerator of which is the sum of the Participant's Projected Annual Benefit under all the defined benefit plans (whether or not terminated) maintained by the Employer, and the denominator of which is the lesser of 125 percent of the dollar limitation determined for the Limitation Year under Code ss.ss.415(b) and (d) or 140 percent of the Participant's Highest Average Compensation, including any adjustments under Code ss.415(b). Notwithstanding the above, if the Participant was a Participant as of the first day of the first Limitation Year beginning after December 31, 1986, in one or more Defined Benefit Plans maintained by the Employer which were in existence on May 6, 1986, the denominator of this fraction shall not be less than 125 percent of the sum of the annual benefits under such plans which the Participant had accrued as of the close of the last Limitation Year beginning before January 1, 1987, disregarding any changes in the terms and conditions of the plans after May 5, 1986. The preceding sentence applies only if the Defined Benefit Plans individually and in the aggregate satisfied the requirements of Code ss.415 for all Limitation Years beginning before January 1, 1987.

  • Postponed Retirement Date means the first day of the month coincident with or next following a Participant’s date of actual retirement which occurs after his Normal Retirement Date.

  • Load Factor means the percentage of aircraft seats actually occupied on a flight (RPMs divided by ASMs). “NMB” means the National Mediation Board.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means an annual benefit equal to One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and No/100 ($150,000.00) per year, payable in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. Beginning on the thirteenth month that the Normal Retirement Benefit is paid, and continuing thereafter until paid in full, the Normal Retirement Benefit shall be increased annually by three percent (3%) from the previous year’s Normal Retirement Benefit amount to account for cost of living increases.

  • Principal Participant means any of the following entities:

  • Qualifying Retirement means the Employee’s voluntary termination of employment after the Employee has (i) attained (X) age sixty-five (65), (Y) age fifty-five (55) with ten (10) Years of Service as a full-time employee of the Partnership or any of its Affiliates, or (Z) an age which, when added to such Years of Service of the Employee equals at least seventy-five (75), and (ii) previously delivered a written notice of retirement to the Partnership and on the date of retirement the Employee has satisfied the minimum applicable advance written notice requirement set forth below: Age at Voluntary Termination Number of Years of Advance Notice 58 or younger 59 60 or older 3 years 2 years 1 year By way of illustration, and without limiting the foregoing, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee later terminates employment at age fifty-nine (59), then the Employee’s retirement at age fifty-nine (59) would not constitute a Qualifying Retirement. However, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee terminates employment upon reaching age sixty (60), then the Employee’s retirement at age sixty (60) would constitute a Qualifying Retirement.

  • Special Retirement means an Optionee’s termination of employment or service with the Employers and Affiliates on or after the later of (i) the Optionee’s attainment of age 62 and (ii) the Optionee’s Early Retirement Date or Normal Retirement Date, as such terms are defined in the Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. Pension Plan.
