Retained Space definition

Retained Space means approximately gross square feet of space within the Historic Boat Shop reserved for use as [ ] by Landlord or its assignees and shall not be leased to Tenant. [TBD WHETHER APPLICABLE]
Retained Space shall have the meaning set forth in Section 45.1 of this Lease.
Retained Space. Units S-ll-01 (the 11th Floor of the South Building) and S-01-05 (the portion of the South Building lobby shown hatched on the floor plan annexed hereto as Schedule E) and the Limited Common Elements and the undivided interest in the General Common Elements appurtenant to such Units. Landlord and Tenant hereby agree that for purposes of this Lease the Retained Space shall be deemed to contain an aggregate of 53,032 rentable square feet.

  • In the event Sublandlord and Subtenant agree that the Retained Space shall be expanded through the conversion of a portion of the Shared Space into space dedicated to Sublandlord’s exclusive use, Sublandlord and Subtenant shall enter into an amendment hereto setting forth a revised Subtenant’s Share to reflect the increase in the square footage of the Retained Space.1.11 Subtenant’s Use: Any use permitted under the Master Lease or permitted by the Master Landlord in its written consent to the Sublease.

  • In the event Licensee shall desire to make any alterations to the License Area, Licensee shall provide Licensor prior written notice thereof, specifying in Licensee’s notice the scope and location of the desired alteration(s) as necessary to enable Licensor to formulate a judgment as to the effect such alteration(s) would have upon the building and its systems, and Licensor’s use of, and operation within, that portion of the Premises not constituting the License Area (the “ Retained Space ”).


More Definitions of Retained Space

Retained Space means space located within the Xxxxxxx Warehouse that is not leased to Lessee and is reserved for use by Lessor. The Retained Space comprises approximately 9,565 square feet of the ground floor area within the Xxxxxxx Warehouse as measured from the interior surface of the finished walls and is a contiguous area beginning approximately at the Jefferson and Hyde Street corner of the building and extending across the bays of the building’s support grid fronting on Jefferson Street as shown on Exhibit B and continuing into the interior of the building on the lowest level along the Hyde Street wall of the building so as to encompass the requisite area in a generally rectangular shape. The outside entrance to the Retained Space shall be through an existing opening onto Jefferson Street. The Retained Space extends downward from the bottom of the finished surfaces of the ceiling above and extends no further downward than the top of the concrete floor slab. The Retained Space does not include the Vault.
Retained Space means approximately gross square feet of space reserved for use as office space by or its assignees for management and use of the marina and shall not be leased to the tenant under the Lease.

Related to Retained Space

  • Leased space means individual storage space at a self-service storage facility which is rented to an occupant pursuant to a rental agreement.

  • Confined Space means a place the dimensions or nature of which necessitate working in a cramped position or without sufficient ventilation.)

  • Subleased Premises means such portions of the Leased Premises being particularly identified on Schedule B, which the parties agree, for the purposes of this Sublease and any square footage calculations pursuant hereto, is approximately 42,244 square feet of office (21,068 square feet on the third floor and 21,176 square feet on the seventh floor) and approximately 9.4312% of common space (building rentable area is 447,917 square feet).

  • Collocation Space means an area of space located in a Building to be used by CLEC to house telecommunications equipment. Additionally, roof or wall space used for wireless interconnection shall be included in the definition where applicable.

  • Grave space means a space of ground in a cemetery that is used or intended to be used for an in-ground burial.

  • Licensed Space means the indoor and outdoor space on the premises approved by the department for the purpose of providing licensed child care.

  • Storage Space means a space where goods of non-hazardous nature are stored and includes cold storage and banking safe vaults;

  • Customer Premises Equipment or "CPE" means equipment employed on the premises of a Person other than a Carrier to originate, route or terminate Telecommunications (e.g., a telephone, PBX, modem pool, etc.).

  • Leased Property shall have the meaning given such term in Section 2.1.

Subject to the prior rights of other tenants to whom Landlord has granted substantially similar rights, Tenant has the option to lease any Expansion Space which Landlord notifies Tenant is or will become available. If Tenant gives Landlord notice of its exercise of this option within thirty (30) days after notification from Landlord of the availability of the Expansion Space and if no Event of Default exists when Tenant’s notice is given, this Lease will be deemed to be amended to include Tenant’s Expansion Space as part of the Premises for the remainder of the Lease Term upon all of the same terms contained in this Lease except that (i) the Rentable Area of the Premises will be amended to include Tenant’s Expansion Space; (ii) Tenant’s Share will be increased to include the rentable area of Tenant’s Expansion Space; (iii) the Term Commencement Date with respect to Tenant’s Expansion Space will be the earlier of sixty (60) days after the date on which Tenant’s Expansion Space becomes vacant and ready for occupancy (provided that date is at least sixty (60) days after Tenant exercises its option to lease the Expansion Space), or the date on which the Expansion Space is first occupied by Tenant; (iv) if Tenant’s Expansion Space contains a rentable area of 10,000 square feet or more, and if there are less than three (3) Lease Years remaining in the Lease Term, the Lease Term will be extended to include three (3) full years from the Term Commencement Date with respect to Tenant’s Expansion Space; and (v) subject to adjustment during each Fixed Rental Period as provided in Exhibit E, Basic Rent for each year of the remaining Lease Term (as it may be extended) will be the greater of (a) the Basic Rent last paid by the Person most recently occupying Tenant’s Expansion Space or (b) Market Rent determined as provided in the Rent Rider attached as Exhibit E. If Tenant exercises this option, Tenant’s Expansion Space will be leased to Tenant in its “as is” condition and Tenant will, at its expense and in compliance with the provisions of Section 7.06, design and construct all Improvements desired by Tenant for its use and occupancy. Landlord and Tenant agree to execute such amendments to this Lease and other instruments as either of them considers necessary or desirable to reflect Tenant’s exercise of this option.

  • the Premises means the building or part of the building booked and referred to in the contract
