Examples of Rest in a sentence
For the purposes of s354 of the Workplace Relations Act, this Agreement excludes the operation of the following protected award provisions: • Rest breaks; • Incentive-based payments and bonuses; • Annual leave loadings; • Public holidays entitlements and payments, including substitute days; • Monetary allowances relating to expenses, responsibilities or disabilities; • Penalty rates or loadings for working overtime or shift work.
An employee working overtime on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday shall be allowed a 30 minute combined Rest Period/Crib Break after four hours work, such time to be paid as per subclause (d)i hereof, with a further 20 minute Crib break to be paid as per subclause (d)ii hereof if the overtime continues past 8 hours worked.
Employees shall be allowed rest and meal breaks during their shifts as follows: Rest Time within the first half period of the shift 20 minutes Meal Break within the second half period of the shift 20 minutes The parties acknowledge that no other rest time shall be allowed unless previously authorised by a departmental supervisor.
Rota: Workshop Staff Appendix A The four static working shifts would consist of: Week 1 Early (including Saturday and Sunday) • Working week Monday 6:00 to 13:50; Tuesday 6:00 to 13:50; Wednesday 6:00 to 13:50, Thursday 6:00 to 13:50, Rest day Friday; Saturday 6:00 to 15:30; Sunday 6:00 to 15:30.
