RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. The UNIVERSITY shall designate in writing a faculty member to coordinate with a designee of the FIELDWORK SITE.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. The University shall: (1) outline the course of study for the Students, with a view to developing in each Student the skills and knowledge as outlined by the University’s curriculum; (2) require Students assigned to the Placement meet academic pre-Placement requirements established by the University prior to the Placement; (3) appoint an Advisor whose responsibilities are: (a) to evaluate the Students' performance in accordance with the academic objectives/learning outcomes established by the University and in consultation with the staff of the Practicum Centre; and (b) in cooperation and with the assistance of the Practicum Centre, to inform students that they must be oriented to and be familiar with the Practicum Centre’s mission, rules, regulations, and policies of the Practicum Centre; provided that in the exercise of these responsibilities the Advisor is subject to the operational requirements of the Practicum Centre; (4) inform Students they must comply with and abide by the Practicum Centre’s policies and procedures, and the instructions of the supervisor and her/his designate as supervisor of the Students, during the term of the Placement, and inform the Students that during the term of their Placement and thereafter they are required to abide by the Practicum Centre’s Conflict of Interest policy and confidentiality requirements, and are subject to the provisions of legislation governing the Practicum Centre; and (5) assign the overall grade for each Student’s Placement and assume overall responsibility for the Students’ academic program.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. 7.1 The University will: 7.1.1 provide the Service Provider with such access to the Precincts and/or Information Technology Systems (where applicable) as is reasonably necessary to allow the Service Provider to fulfil its obligations in terms of this Agreement; 7.1.2 co-operate with and assist the Service Provider to enable it to provide the Deliverables; 7.1.3 designate an authorised Representative to oversee and supervise the Deliverables, to convey instructions to the Service Provider and to receive information from the Service Provider; and 7.1.4 pay the Service Provider as provided for in clause 22 of this Agreement.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. The Medical School shall be responsible for providing a graduate medical educational experience and training program through faculty planning, teaching, supervision, and evaluation of fellows. The University shall perform administrative functions for the benefit of the fellows. These include fellow providing TRIA with support for onboarding; administering the procedure related to the discipline of fellows; and providing mechanisms for the coordination of programs among the affiliated hospitals and clinics, the Medical School, and the various clinical services. Additional responsibilities of the training program, including benefits provided to fellows are outlined in Addendum A, “TRIA Sports Medicine & Shoulder Fellowship Program”, Section 3 “Responsibilities of the Training Program”, and are incorporated as part of this Agreement. The Medical School has established general policies on duty hours/on-call schedules, moonlighting, and the effect of absences on timely completion of the residency/fellowship program. These matters are set forth in the GME Institution Policy Manual, and supplemented in the applicable Program Policy Manual. Program policies will conform to any applicable requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the relevant American specialty board. The Medical School does not require fellows to sign a noncompetitive guarantee. Please see the GME Institution Policy Manual. A periodic assessment of academic performance of each fellow is the responsibility of the fellowship program director with input from faculty. Academic performance of a fellow must be evaluated by a careful and deliberate review, including documentation of the fellow’s performance with respect to relevant exam scores, clinical diagnosis and judgment, medical knowledge, technical abilities, interpretation of data, patient management, communications skills, interactions with patients and other healthcare professionals, professional appearance and demeanor, and/or motivation and initiative. All recorded evaluations of a fellow’s performance are accessible to the fellow. A fellow can be disciplined and/or dismissed from the program for academic reasons. Before dismissing a fellow or not renewing a fellow’s contract for academic reasons, the program must give the fellow notice of their performance deficiencies, an opportunity to remedy the deficiencies, and notice of the possibility of dismissal or non-renewal if the deficiencies are not cor...

The University agrees to exercise reasonable care to safeguard the health, safety, and property of the Resident and will make a good faith effort to repair properly reported defects in residential facilities. The University shall not be liable for failure of water supply, electrical current, or heating/cooling systems; presence of insects or vermin; or the loss, damage, or injury to a resident or his or her guest or the property of the Resident or guest. In the event of utility or facility disruptions, housing fees will not be reimbursed. b. The University only provides liability for damages or injuries caused by negligence on the part of the University or its employees while working within the scope of their employment. THE UNIVERSITY IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SECURE THEIR OWN PERSONAL PROPERTY LOSS INSURANCE.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. The University agrees to provide each resident with a bed, dresser, closet space, desk, and desk chair. The University will make every reasonable effort to provide students with access to Wi-Fi, but it is not a guaranteed amenity to the student as part of this contract. Interruptions in Wi-Fi may occur on a temporary basis. XxXxxxxxx’x Information Technology (IT) department supplies and services internet service to all XxXxxxxxx University campus locations. Support for internet or technology questions can be found on the Information Technology webpage. The University agrees to provide reasonable amounts of heat, water, electricity, and air-conditioning. If an interruption occurs, the University agrees to restore the affected service within a reasonable amount of time once notification from the resident is received by the Physical Plant. Interruptions on a temporary basis for the reasons of maintenance, repair, or catastrophe will not be considered a breach of this contract and the University assumes no responsibility for damages such as food spoilage. The University agrees to provide trash removal in designated areas and to clean common hallways, communal restroom facilities, lounges, and public areas on a regular basis. The University is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal property, money, or valuables, and encourages all students to carry appropriate insurance concerning protection against such losses. The University will make every reasonable effort to respect the privacy of the student and give prior notice, if possible, of entry into the student’s room/apartment for purposes of inspection, verification of occupancy, improvements, or repairs. However, the University reserves the right of entry without prior notice in situations where a perceived threat to health and safety of persons or property exists and for such purposes as are reasonably necessary to preserve order and address suspected policy violations. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. The University shall take reasonable steps to ensure that the student is made aware of the policies, rules and regulations of the Organization as made known to the University. The University shall provide the Organization with the University’s policies, rules and regulations that are necessary for the Organization to effectively participate in the Practicum. Further, as reasonably possible, the appointed representative of the University will meet with the Organization to review the University’s and the Organization’s applicable policies, rules and regulations and to clarify any questions either party may have regarding such policies, rules or regulations. The University shall pay the Organization or a representative of the Organization an honorarium as set out in Schedule “A”, provided the Organization has complied with the terms of this Agreement including the requirement to provide the student with adequate and consistent supervision as set out in section 5.4 herein.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. 4.3.1 The University shall carry out Quality Monitoring to ensure that the Services are being delivered at the performance and quality levels set out in the Schedules herein. The Practice shall co-operate with the University and provide the University with such assistance as is requested by the University in order for the University to undertake the Quality Monitoring. Quality Monitoring shall not relieve the Practice of any of its obligations under this Agreement. 4.3.2 In consideration of the Practice providing the Services, the University shall make payments to the Practice in accordance with Schedule B.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. 1. The University shall provide the basic academic preparation of the student interns through classroom instruction and laboratory practice and will assign to the Facility only those student interns who possess a satisfactory record of completing prerequisite portion of the curriculum and who have met the minimum requirements established by Facility for the Program. 2. The University will maintain general responsibility for didactic instruction, academic evaluation and related academic matters concerning student participation in the educational internship program at the Facility, including evaluation and grading of student interns. 3. The University will provide to appropriate personnel at the Facility a list of the student interns to receive training at the Facility and will update such list as necessary. 4. The University shall advise student interns that their participation in the training experience does not entitle the student interns to employment with the Facility that extends beyond their participation in the internship at the Facility. 5. The University will promptly consider any reasonable request by the Facility for the withdrawal of student interns for sufficient and good cause if they are participating in an unpaid internship. The University acknowledges that student interns participating in paid internships are at will employees of the Facility, and that the Facility has the right, in compliance with applicable laws, to terminate the student interns at any time, with or without cause. 6. The University shall provide the Facility’s staff with opportunities to participate in the development of specific educational objectives for each student intern as well as in the joint planning and evaluation of the student intern’s educational experience. 7. The University is an agency of the State of New Jersey. Any agreement signed on behalf of the State of New Jersey by a State official shall be subject to all of the provisions of the New Jersey Tort Claims Act (N.J.
