Residence Complex definition

Residence Complex means all dormitory halls, Cluster Housing units and dormitory apartments located on the University campus (including bedrooms, common washrooms, lounges, hallways, laundry facilities, kitchens, storage areas, and external walkways and stairs between residence buildings); as well as the Modular Dining Facility (MOD); as well as the grounds around and between Residence Complex buildings;
Residence Complex means East and West Residence, including, but not limited to; all townhouse units, apartment buildings, common areas, community rooms, grass areas, driveways and walkways within the perimeters of the buildings;

  • It defines the policies and regulations governing the offer of housing and the terms and conditions of accepting residence in the Residence Complex that is managed by Residence Services.

  • Throwing, dropping, pouring, knocking or ejecting objects from Residence Complex buildings, windows, cluster walkways, covered walkways, balconies or stairwells, whether intentionally or unintentionally, is prohibited and may result in eviction.

  • If Landlord provides written consent to any such pet, Tenant must supply pet vet records, pay the applicable pet fee and pet deposit, and each Cotenant must sign the pet addendum before any (and each) pet is allowed in the Residence or within the Residence Complex.

  • The University does not accept any responsibility for personal property delivered to the Front Desk or left in Residence Complex areas.

  • Tenant has no authority to incur any debt or make any charge against or to create any lien against the Residence of the Residence Complex for any work done or materials furnished, or to act as agent for Landlord at any time or for any purpose.

  • Residence district means the territory contiguous to a highway, not comprising a business district,

  • apartment building means a residential use building, or the residential use portion of a mixed-use building, other than a townhouse or stacked townhouse containing four or more dwelling units each of which shall have access to above grade common halls, stairs, elevators, and yards;

It includes parks, gardens, play grounds, sector shops and other open spaces located in the area earmarked in the residential zone.

  • School building means any building in which any of the instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by a school is conducted, whether or not any instruction, extracurricular activities, or training provided by the school is being conducted in the school building at the time a criminal offense is committed.

  • Office Building (Premises), means a building or premises or part thereof whose sole or principal use is for an office or for office purposes or clerical work. "Office purposes" includes the purpose of administration, clerical work, handling money, telephone, telegraph and computer operation; and "clerical work" includes writing, book-keeping, sorting papers typing, filing, duplicating, punching cards or tapes, machines calculations, drawing of matter for publication and editorial preparation of matter for publication.

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Complex means the group of registered investment companies for which Prudential Investments Fund Management LLC serves as Manager; provided, however, that with respect to Access Persons of the Subadviser (including any unit or subdivision thereof), "Complex" means the group of registered investment companies in the Complex advised by the Subadviser or unit or subdivision thereof. A list of such registered investment companies will be maintained by the Compliance Officer.

  • Apartment shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Recital H;

  • Community location means a public or private elementary or secondary school, a church, a public library, a public playground, or a public park.

  • Residential Floor Area means all of the square footage of living area within the perimeter of a residential structure, not including any carport, walkway, garage, overhang, patio, enclosed patio, or similar area. The determination of Residential Floor Area shall be made by reference to the building permit(s) issued for such Assessor’s Parcel.

  • Assisted living residence means a facility licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services to provide apartment-style housing and congregate dining and to assure that assisted living services are available when needed for four or more adult persons unrelated to the proprietor and that offers units containing, at a minimum, one unfurnished room, a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a lockable door on the unit entrance.

  • Residential area means land used as a permanent residence or domicile, such as a house, apartment, nursing home, school, child care facility or prison, land zoned for such uses, or land where no zoning is in place.

  • storey means that portion of a building which is situated between the top of any floor and the top of the floor next above it, and if there is no floor above it, that portion between the top of such floor and the ceiling above it.

  • Residential rental property means property that is used solely as leased or rented property for residential purposes. If the property is a space rental mobile home park, residential rental property includes the rental space that is leased or rented by the owner of that rental space but does not include the mobile home or recreational vehicle that serves as the actual dwelling if the dwelling is owned and occupied by the tenant of the rental space and not by the owner of the rental space.

  • Residential contractor means a licensed contractor that holds an endorsement as a:
