Replacement Fuel definition

Replacement Fuel shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.05 hereof.
Replacement Fuel means synthetic paraffinic kerosene meeting the requirements of any of annexes 2 through 5 of ASTM Standard Specification D7566, latest issue.
Replacement Fuel means natural gas or other fuel which may be readily used in substitution for volumes hereunder to operate Buyer’s Plant in satisfaction of Buyer’s Power Purchase Agreement;

Examples of Replacement Fuel in a sentence

  • If Fuel Manager determines it is not able to acquire Replacement Fuel, Fuel Manager shall promptly notify Owner and prepare and submit to Owner a plan to address such unavailability of Replacement Fuel.

  • Fuel Manager shall promptly notify Owner after Fuel Manager's acquisition, as agent of Owner, of Replacement Fuel pursuant to this Section 2.05 and the price of such Replacement Fuel.

  • Buyer shall use reasonable efforts to mitigate costs for which Seller is responsible, and without limitation, Buyer shall use reasonable efforts to utilize Replacement Fuel which will minimize the Indemnity Amount.

  • Fuel Manager shall, as agent for Owner, use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize the cost of Replacement Fuel by choosing among available Replacement Fuel supplies that which is most cost-efficient, taking into consideration dependability, safety, transportation cost, and the anticipated extent and duration of the interruption in supply of the Gas that would have been provided under the existing arrangements.

  • If, on any Day, Seller fails to deliver Base Gas nominated by Buyer for any reason other than force majeure or pursuant to Section 7.2, Seller shall indemnify Buyer against all incremental costs and expenses reasonably incurred by Buyer to obtain Replacement Fuel, all Unrecovered Transportation Demand Charges, and all Buyer’s Pipeline Penalties imposed by Buyer’s Transporters as a result of Seller’s failure to deliver, calculated at Buyer’s Plant, (the “Indemnity Amount”).

  • Deliveries of Replacement Fuel shall, unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, be made at the Delivery Point originally specified for such shipment, and Seller shall, in accordance with this Agreement, Applicable Laws and applicable industry standards, provide, or cause to be provided, transportation to such Delivery Point of all quantities of Replacement Fuel made available hereunder to Buyer.

  • Fuel Manager shall seek to locate and acquire Replacement Fuel under substantially similar terms and conditions and with equivalent economic ramifications to Owner as those applicable to the lost Gas and Oil supply, but if it is unable to do so, Fuel Manager shall nevertheless use commercially reasonable efforts to locate and acquire other Replacement Fuel.

  • Georgia Power shall use reasonable best efforts to make available to Oglethorpe Power the Marginal Replacement Fuel Cost on or before three (3) Days prior to the Day on which such cost will take effect.

Related to Replacement Fuel

  • Replacement Energy means Energy purchased by Buyer as replacement for any Delivery Shortfall.

  • Replacement Aircraft means the Aircraft of which a Replacement Airframe is part.

  • Alternative fuel means natural gas, propane, ethanol, methanol, gasoline (when used in hybrid electric mobile cargo handling equipment only), hydrogen, electricity, fuel cells, or advanced technologies that do not rely on diesel fuel. "Alternative fuel" also means any of these fuels used in combination with each other or in combination with other non-diesel fuel.

  • Spent fuel means any fuel element or fuel component, solid or liquid, which has been used or exposed to radiation in a nuclear reactor;

  • Replacement Airframe means an Airbus A321 aircraft or a comparable or improved model of Manufacturer (except (a) Engines or engines from time to time installed thereon and any and all Parts related to such Engine or engines and (b) Excluded Equipment), that shall have been made subject to the Lien of the Indenture pursuant to Section 7.05 thereof, together with all Parts relating to such aircraft.

  • Alternative fuel vehicle means a vehicle designed to be capable of running on at least one type of fuel that is either gaseous at atmospheric temperature and pressure, or substantially non-mineral oil derived.

  • Replacement unit means a landfill, surface impoundment, or waste pile unit (1) from which all or substantially all of the waste is removed, and (2) that is subsequently reused to treat, store, or dispose of hazardous waste. “Replacement unit” does not apply to a unit from which waste is removed during closure, if the subsequent reuse solely involves the disposal of waste from that unit and other closing units or corrective action areas at the facility, in accordance with an approved closure plan or EPA or State approved corrective action.

  • alternative fuels means fuels or power sources which serve, at least partly, as a substitute for fossil oil sources in the energy supply to transport and which have the potential to contribute to its decarbonisation and enhance the environmental performance of the transport sector, including:

  • Replacement Equipment means operational equipment or other parts used by Tenant to replace any of the Equipment.

  • Replacement Facility means 1 of the following:

  • Replacement Option means an Option that is granted when a Participant uses a Common Share held or to be acquired by the Participant to exercise an Option and/or to satisfy tax withholding requirements incident to the exercise of an Option.

  • Replacement Engine means a [Engine Manufacturer and Model] engine (or an engine of the same or another manufacturer of a comparable or an improved model and suitable for installation and use on the Airframe with the other Engine (or any other Replacement Engine being substituted simultaneously therewith)) that shall have been made subject to the Lien of the Indenture pursuant to Section 7.04 or Section 7.05 thereof, together with all Parts relating to such engine, but excluding items installed or incorporated in or attached to any such engine from time to time that are excluded from the definition of Parts.

  • Replacement Benchmark means a benchmark rate which is:

  • Replacement Assets means (1) tangible non-current assets that will be used or useful in a Permitted Business or (2) substantially all the assets of a Permitted Business or a majority of the Voting Stock of any Person engaged in a Permitted Business that will become on the date of acquisition thereof a Restricted Subsidiary.

  • Replacement Costs means the expenditures for obtaining and installing equipment, accessories or appurtenances which are necessary during the useful life of the treatment works to maintain the capacity and performance for which such works were designed and constructed.
