Rental Premises definition

Rental Premises means all or part of a dwelling unit or related accessory structure being rented or otherwise let to person(s) other than the owner of the subject property.
Rental Premises means a building containing one or more rental units.
Rental Premises shall refer to all areas to which the Tenants have access by virtue of their signing the Lease, including all indoor common areas in the building and in the outdoor spaces on the surrounding property.

Examples of Rental Premises in a sentence

  • Landlord cannot and does not warrant or promise that the Rental Premises or any other portion of the property including common areas will be free from secondhand smoke.

  • The City shall also post one or more notices prominently upon entrances to the Rental Premises and/or buildings located thereupon, advising tenants of the prohibition, and may take such other action as the City deems reasonable to notify the public and interested parties of the prohibition on rental or leasing.

  • A prohibition on new or renewed leases or other forms of rental use of the Rental Premises.

  • An Order for restitution to be paid to the City for any extraordinary City expenses incurred in responding to unlawful activities occurring at or arising out of the use of the Disorderly Rental Premises.

  • The owner or manager of a Disorderly Rental Premises shall be responsible for the costs of any reinspection of the Rental Premises necessary to confirm that any defects discovered in the initial inspection have been corrected.

More Definitions of Rental Premises

Rental Premises means the rental unit(s) described in the Schedule above, including the building in which such rental unit(s) is located, and the contents contained in such rental unit(s) or building.
Rental Premises means a residential dwelling unit, appurtenances thereto, grounds, and facilities held out for the use of tenants generally and any other area or facility which is held out for use by the tenant.
Rental Premises means property which is rented to tenants for residential purposes and shall refer to all units in a multi-unit complex. The term "Rental Premises" shall not include rented lots in manufactured home parks.
Rental Premises means the “primary residence” or “secondary residence” that is being operated as a “short-term rental”.
Rental Premises means the entire property owned by the Landlord on which the rental unit in which the Tenant resides is located, inclusive of all buildings , and rental units , and open and other areas on the property.]
Rental Premises means property which is rented to tenants for residential purposes, pursuant to a written or unwritten lease, and shall refer to all units in a multi-unit complex. The term "rental premises" shall not include rented lots in manufactured home parks, on­ campus college or university housing units; Minnesota Department of Health licensed rest homes; convalescent care facilities; licensed group homes; nursing homes; hotels; motels; owner-occupied single-family dwellings; or residential dwellings that are rented to at least one parent, child, sibling, grandparent or spouse of the owner.

Related to Rental Premises

  • School premises means either of the following:

  • residential premises means a house, building, structure, shelter, or mobile home, or portion thereof, used as a dwelling, home, residence, or living place by 1 or more human beings. “Residential premises” includes an apartment unit, a boardinghouse, a rooming house, a mobile home, a mobile home space, and a single or multiple family dwelling, but does not include a hotel, a motel, motor home, or other tourist accommodation, when used as a temporary accommodation for guests or tourists, or premises used as the principal place of residence of the owner and rented occasionally during temporary absences including vacation or sabbatical leave.

  • Expansion Space means any space in the Building which, at any time during the Lease Term, is occupied by a Person other than Landlord under a written lease with Landlord, and the term “Tenant’s Expansion Space” means Expansion Space which Tenant has elected to lease as provided in this paragraph. Landlord agrees to notify Tenant promptly after Landlord learns that any Expansion Space is or will become available. Subject to the prior rights of other tenants to whom Landlord has granted substantially similar rights, Tenant has the option to lease any Expansion Space which Landlord notifies Tenant is or will become available. If Tenant gives Landlord notice of its exercise of this option within thirty (30) days after notification from Landlord of the availability of the Expansion Space and if no Event of Default exists when Tenant’s notice is given, this Lease will be deemed to be amended to include Tenant’s Expansion Space as part of the Premises for the remainder of the Lease Term upon all of the same terms contained in this Lease except that (i) the Rentable Area of the Premises will be amended to include Tenant’s Expansion Space; (ii) Tenant’s Share will be increased to include the rentable area of Tenant’s Expansion Space; (iii) the Term Commencement Date with respect to Tenant’s Expansion Space will be the earlier of sixty (60) days after the date on which Tenant’s Expansion Space becomes vacant and ready for occupancy (provided that date is at least sixty (60) days after Tenant exercises its option to lease the Expansion Space), or the date on which the Expansion Space is first occupied by Tenant; (iv) if Tenant’s Expansion Space contains a rentable area of 10,000 square feet or more, and if there are less than three (3) Lease Years remaining in the Lease Term, the Lease Term will be extended to include three (3) full years from the Term Commencement Date with respect to Tenant’s Expansion Space; and (v) subject to adjustment during each Fixed Rental Period as provided in Exhibit E, Basic Rent for each year of the remaining Lease Term (as it may be extended) will be the greater of (a) the Basic Rent last paid by the Person most recently occupying Tenant’s Expansion Space or (b) Market Rent determined as provided in the Rent Rider attached as Exhibit E. If Tenant exercises this option, Tenant’s Expansion Space will be leased to Tenant in its “as is” condition and Tenant will, at its expense and in compliance with the provisions of Section 7.06, design and construct all Improvements desired by Tenant for its use and occupancy. Landlord and Tenant agree to execute such amendments to this Lease and other instruments as either of them considers necessary or desirable to reflect Tenant’s exercise of this option.

  • Commercial Premises Means a place of trade or premises operated for financial gain, including but not limited to, a retirement village or a block of flats that has a common facility; a place of trade where the manufacture and production of products or produce takes place; a site where renovation, restoration and refurbishment work as described in Appendix B takes place.

  • Subleased Premises means such portions of the Leased Premises being particularly identified on Schedule B, which the parties agree, for the purposes of this Sublease and any square footage calculations pursuant hereto, is approximately 42,244 square feet of office (21,068 square feet on the third floor and 21,176 square feet on the seventh floor) and approximately 9.4312% of common space (building rentable area is 447,917 square feet).

  • industrial premises means any place or premises (not being a private dwelling house), including the precincts thereof, in which or in any part of which any industry, trade, business, occupation or manufacturing is being ordinarily carried on with or without the aid of power and includes a godown attached thereto;

  • Storage Space means a space where goods of non-hazardous nature are stored and includes cold storage and banking safe vaults;

  • Lease Area means the Lease Area as more particularly described in SCHEDULE C.

  • Residential rental property means property that is used solely as leased or rented property for residential purposes. If the property is a space rental mobile home park, residential rental property includes the rental space that is leased or rented by the owner of that rental space but does not include the mobile home or recreational vehicle that serves as the actual dwelling if the dwelling is owned and occupied by the tenant of the rental space and not by the owner of the rental space.

  • Leased space means individual storage space at a self-service storage facility which is rented to an occupant pursuant to a rental agreement.

  • Rentable Area of the Premises The amount of square footage set forth in Section 1.01(10).

  • Office Premises means any building, facility, or portion thereof, or other premises, whether owned or controlled by CP, which is used solely for clerical or administrative purposes and which does not contain heavy equipment or machinery, as designated by CP from time to time;

  • Leased Premises means the Leased Premises as defined in Paragraph 1.

  • Rent as used in this Section 21 shall be deemed to be and to mean all sums of every nature required to be paid by Tenant pursuant to the terms of this Lease, whether to Landlord or to others. As used in Sections 21(c)(ii)(A) and (B), above, the “worth at the time of award” shall be computed by allowing interest at the Default Rate. As used in Section 21(c)(ii)(C) above, the “worth at the time of award” shall be computed by discounting such amount at the discount rate of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco at the time of award plus 1%.

  • Residential Rental Unit means an area legally licensed or permitted for use as a living space containing a sleeping area, bathing and sanitation facilities and cooking facilities equipped with a cooking range, refrigerator and sink, all of which are separate and distinct from other Residential Rental Units. Reg. §§ 1.103-8(a) 8(i).
