Rent Abatement definition

Rent Abatement means a reduction in base rent due under the Lease: (1) by reason of the Tenant's or Owner's exercise of the right under the Lease to xxxxx Rent in the event of Condemnation, or (2) in the event the Lease does not specifically provide such right, such reduction is pursuant to a final, non-appealable order or judgment granting the Tenant or Owner such reduction in the event of Condemnation.
Rent Abatement means an agreement by the Company and a tenant to suspend rent payments for a period of time without corresponding repayment of the suspended payments;
Rent Abatement. Provided that Tenant is not in material breach of the Lease, and no amount of Adjusted Rental is then past due, the Basic Rental shall xxxxx and be deemed timely paid by Tenant for the eighteenth (18th) month and thirty-sixth (36th) month of the lease Term (collectively the “Rent Abatement Months”).   • During the term of this Agreement, the Contractor will act as Rent Abatement Hearing Examiner in all matters assigned to him by the Rent Abatement Clerk.

Rent Abatement. If all or any part of the Premises are damaged by fire or other casualty and this Lease is not terminated as hereinabove provided, Monthly Base Rental shall abatx xxx that part of the Premise which are untenantable on a per diem and proportionate area basis from the date three (3) business days after the date of the fire or other casualty causing such damage until such time as Landlord has substantially completed the repair and restoration work in the Premises which it is required to perform, provided, that as a result of such fire or other casualty, Tenant does not occupy the portion of the Premises which are untenantable during such period.
Rent Abatement shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.2 hereof.

Rent Abatement means Tenant's right to xxxxx payment of its Basic Monthly Rent for the period beginning on the Commencement Date and expiring on the earliest of the following (the "Rent Commencement Date"): (a) 60 days after the Commencement Date; (b) the day on which Tenant begins business operations from the Premises; and (c) the day on which Tenant's Work is substantially completed such that Tenant is able to commence normal business operations from the Premises. The Rental Commencement Date shall mean that date which is one (1) day following the date the Rent Abatement period expires.
