Renewal Work definition

Renewal Work means maintenance, repair, reconstruction, rehabilitation, restoration, renewal or replacement of any Maintained Element of a type that is not normally included as an annually recurring cost in highway maintenance and repair budgets.

Renewal Work has the meaning specified in the Project Agreement. “Required Creditors” has the meaning specified in the Intercreditor Agreement.

Renewal Work means corrective action to be performed by LAEP or a Project SPE to restore normal operation of a Covered Asset.

• Developer shall diligently perform Renewal Work as and when necessary to maintain compliance with such Performance Requirements.

• DB Contractor shall use the results of General Inspections, Specialist Inspections and Audit Inspections to update the Renewal Work Submittal, to maintain asset condition and service levels, and to develop programs of maintenance and Renewal Work to minimize the effect of Maintenance Services on Users and other members of the public.

• Whenever Renewal Work is undertaken that requires design work or construction work the DB Contractor shall follow procedures systems and obligations set forth in Section 4.3 of the DB General Conditions as appropriate to the nature of the work to be performed, in TxDOT’s discretion.

Renewal Work means maintenance, repair, reconstruction, rehabilitation, restoration, renewal or replacement of any Element of a type which is not normally included as an annually recurring cost in highway maintenance and repair budgets, that requires a significant amount of time to accomplish and therefore must be coordinated, scheduled and planned well in advance of the work effort, including any resurfacing or concrete rehabilitation required during the Operating Period.

Renewal Work means all Work described in Section 23 of the Requirements and Provisions for Work that is not Routine Maintenance, including the renewal, repair or replacement of worn-out, obsolete, damaged or under-performing components so that the Project Facilities do not prematurely deteriorate and remain fully functional.
