Renewable Generating Facility definition

Renewable Generating Facility means an electricity-generating facility that generates electricity exclusively from a Renewable Fuel.
Renewable Generating Facility means all of Producer's electric generating facilities as more particularly described in Appendix A, together with all materials, equipment systems, structures, features and improvements necessary to produce electric energy at such facility, (excluding the Site, land rights and interests in land) located at the Premises identified in Appendix A and complying with the requirements of Appendix Cor Appendix D for the entire Term of this Agreement. Renewable Generating Facility means an electrical generating unit or group of units at a single site, interconnected for synchronous operation and delivery of electricity to an electric utility, where the primary energy in British Thermal Units (BTUs) used for the production of electricity is from one or more of the following sources: hydrogen produced from sources other than fossil fuels, biomass, solar energy, geothermal energy, wind energy, ocean energy, hydroelectric power, or waste heat from a commercial or industrial manufacturing process.

Examples of Renewable Generating Facility in a sentence

  • A CEP that owns and/or operates a Renewable Generating Facility retains any and all rights to own and sell any and all environmental attributes associated with the electrical generation of such Renewable Generating Facility, including but not limited to any and all renewable energy certificates, “green tags”, or other tradeable environmental interests (collectively “RECs”), of any description.

Renewable Generating Facility means an Electricity generating facility located in Ontario which generates Electricity exclusively from a single Renewable Fuel and delivers that Electricity through its own meter (for clarity, “its own meter” means a meter not used by any other facility) in accordance with all Laws and Regulations to the IESO-Controlled Grid or a Distribution System.
Renewable Generating Facility means an electric generating facility located in the TVA Power Service Area that is owned or leased for the Term, as well as operated by the Seller, that generates Energy Output exclusively from a Renewable Fuel and delivers that Energy Output through a meter in accordance with all Laws and Regulations to the TVA Transmission System, or a LPC’s System. The Renewable Generating Facility cannot have a Gross Nameplate Capacity greater than 2 MW.
