Renewable Energy Investments definition

Renewable Energy Investments collectively, the investments made (or to be made) by the Borrower to allow its pulp and paper mxxxx to (a) generate power from renewable energy sources (namely, energy conversion systems fueled by biomass) and (b) use the renewable power for their operations, which investments were (or will be) made in mxxxx that are located in areas of the United States with populations of no more than 20,000.
Renewable Energy Investments as defined in subsection 5.17.

Related to Renewable Energy Investments

  • Renewable energy means energy derived from sunlight, wind, falling water, biomass, sustainable or

  • renewable energy sources means renewable sources such as small hydro, wind, solar including its integration with combined cycle, biomass, bio fuel cogeneration, urban or municipal waste and other such sources as approved by the MNRE;

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.
