Remote Software Service definition

Remote Software Service means, collectively, the NetSuite online business application suite (and any optionally procured modules) (the “NetSuite Service”) the OpenAir online Professional Services Automation application suite (and any optionally procured modules) (the “OpenAir Service”) and/or the Bronto products and Services (the “Bronto Service”) as described in the applicable User Guides that is procured by Customer from Oracle China in the Estimate/Order Form and any subsequent Estimate/Order Form from time to time, including associated offline components, but excluding Third Party Applications, Support Services and Professional Services. Remote Software Service distributed by Oracle China to Customer will be performed by Oracle Offshore and/or its subcontractors, subject to the terms and conditions hereunder.

Examples of Remote Software Service in a sentence

  • Customer is responsible for securing DSL, cable or another high speed Internet connection and up-to-date “browser” software in order to utilize the Remote Software Service.

  • Customer will also be responsible for all Electronic Communications, including those containing business information, account registration, account holder information, financial information, Customer Data, and all other data of any kind contained within emails or otherwise entered electronically through the Remote Software Service or under Customer’s account.

  • The terms of this Agreement shall also apply to updates and upgrades subsequently provided by Oracle to Customer for the Remote Software Service.

  • Customer understands that the technical processing and transmission of Customer’s Electronic Communications is fundamentally necessary to use of the Remote Software Service.

  • Customer agrees that: (i) Oracle is not acting on Customer’s behalf as a Business Associate or subcontractor; (ii) the Remote Software Service may not be used to store, maintain, process or transmit protected health information (“PHI”) and (iii) the Remote Software Service will not be used in any manner that would require Oracle or the Remote Software Service to be compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended and supplemented (“HIPAA”).

  • Customer shall use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to or use of the Remote Software Service and shall promptly notify Oracle of any unauthorized access or use of the Remote Software Service and any loss or theft or unauthorized use of any User’s password or name and/or Remote Software Service account numbers.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Customer shall have the non-exclusive, worldwide, limited right to use the Remote Software Service, Support Services and Professional Services ordered by Customer (collectively, the “Services”) during the applicable period set forth in Customer’s applicable Estimate/Order Form or SOW solely for the internal business operations of Customer.

  • The initial subscription term of the Remote Software Service and/or Support Services procured by Customer shall continue for the term applicable to such Services specified in the applicable Estimate/Order Form.

  • Oracle China warrants that during the Term, Oracle will perform (i) the Remote Software Service using commercially reasonable care and skill in all material respects as described in the Oracle NetSuite Written Materials, and (ii) any Professional Services and Support Services in a professional manner consistent with industry standards (the warranties described by the foregoing clauses (i) and (ii), collectively, the “Services Warranty”).

  • Oracle is not responsible for any aspect of such Third Party Applications that Customer may procure or connect to through the Remote Software Service, or any interoperation, descriptions, promises, or other information related to the foregoing.


More Definitions of Remote Software Service

Remote Software Service means the NetSuite SuitePeople Workforce Management online workforce management solution as described in the applicable User Guides that is procured by Customer from Oracle in the Order and any subsequent Order, including associated offline components, but excluding Third Party Applications, Support Services and Professional Services. Remote Software Service distributed by Oracle China to Customer will be performed by Oracle Offshore and/or its subcontractors, subject to the terms and conditions hereunder.

Related to Remote Software Service

  • Software Services means services that Customer provides to you that make available, display, run, access, or otherwise interact, directly or indirectly, with the Products. Customer must provide these services from data center(s) through the Internet, a telephone network or a private network, on a rental, subscription or services basis, whether or not Customer receives a fee. Software Services exclude any services involving installation of a Product directly on any End User device to permit an End User to interact with the Product.

  • Service Software means any and all software applications and any third-party or other software, and all new versions, updates, revisions, improvements and modifications of the foregoing, that Contractor provides remote access to and use of as part of the Services.

  • Network Integration Transmission Service means the transmission service provided under Tariff, Part III.

  • System Software means Software that provides the operating and management instructions for the underlying hardware and other components, and is identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Systems Software. Such System Software includes, but is not restricted to, micro-code embedded in hardware (i.e., “firmware”), operating systems, communications, system and network management, and utility software.

  • Custom Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Custom Software.

  • Hosted Software means the software owned and controlled by Vendor or Vendor’s third-party contractor that supports the Hosted Software Services.

  • Software Updates means the Software releases, service packs, build updates or emergency fixes released from time to time in accordance with the Vocera’s update policy for such Software.

  • flight information service means a service provided for the purpose of giving advice and information useful for the safe and efficient conduct of flights;

  • Online Service means our on-line system for managing the electronic transmission of information between us and Providers;

  • Oracle Software means any software agent, application or tool that Oracle makes available to You for download specifically for purposes of facilitating Your access to, operation of, and/or use with, the Services.

  • Network Transmission Service means transmission service provided pursuant to the rates, terms and conditions set forth in Tariff, Part III, or transmission service comparable to such service that is provided to a Load Serving Entity that is also a Transmission Owner.

  • Server Software means software that provides services or functionality on a computer acting as a server.

  • Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier or its Affiliates which is used or supplied by the Supplier in the provision of the Services; Supplier Staff means all persons employed or engaged by the Supplier together with the Supplier's servants, agents, suppliers, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, suppliers and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Contract; Time and Materials means the pricing mechanism for the Services as may be agreed by the Parties and set out at paragraph Error: Reference source not found in the SOW; TUPE means the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/246) as amended or replaced or any other regulations or UK legislation implementing the Acquired Rights Directive; Velocity means the Metric which measures the total number of Story Points for Stories that have been accepted in a Sprint, indicating the rate of progress towards Acceptance of all Stories from the Product Backlog;

  • Broadband service means a retail service capable of transmitting data over an access line at a rate greater than 200 kilobits per second.

  • Software Update means a package used to upgrade software to a new version including a change of the configuration parameters.

  • SAP Software means: (i) any and all software products and Cloud Services licensed to Customer under the License Agreement as specified in software order forms or Cloud Service Order Forms (or other order forms, schedules or appendices as applicable) thereto; (ii) any new releases, updates or versions thereof made available through unrestricted shipment pursuant to the respective support agreement or warranty obligation and (iii) any complete or partial copies of any of the foregoing.

  • Software Upgrade means a release of Software, in object code form, or firmware, which adds new functionality and feature enhancements to the Software or Equipment.

  • Hosting Services means the provision, administration, and maintenance of servers and related equipment, the provision of bandwidth at the hosting facility, and the operation of the Application for access by Customer Users to be provided by the relevant hosting service provider.

  • Service Drop means the overhead service conductors from the service point to the connection to the service-entrance conductors at the building or other structure.

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).

  • broadcasting service means a radiocommunication service in which the transmissions are intended for direct reception by the general public. This service may include sound transmissions, television transmissions or other types of transmission.

  • Application Software means Software formulated to perform specific business or technical functions and interface with the business or technical users of the System and is identified as such in Appendix4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Application Software.

  • Network Interface Device or "NID" is a Network Element (including all of its features, functions and capabilities) that includes any means of Interconnection of End User Customer premises wiring to Qwest's distribution plant, such as a cross connect device used for that purpose. "New Service Provider" means the Party to which an End User Customer switches its local Exchange Service or the Party to which an End User Customer is porting its telephone number(s).

  • Software Error means a reproducible defect or combination thereof in the Software that results in a failure of the Software when used in accordance with the Documentation. Software Errors do not include those errors caused by (a) Licensee’s negligence, (b) any unauthorized modification or alteration Licensee makes to the Software, (c) data that does not conform to Licensor’s specified data format, (d) operator error, or (e) use not conforming to the Licensor’s supported technical environment specified in the Documentation.
