Remediate definition

Remediate means investigation, assessment, characterization, delineation, monitoring, sampling, analysis, removal action, remedial action, response action, corrective action, mitigation, treatment or cleanup of Hazardous Materials or other similar actions as required by any applicable Environmental Laws from soil, land surface, groundwater, sediment, surface water, or subsurface strata or otherwise for the general protection of human health and the environment.

Remediate or “Remediation” means the prevention, minimization or mitigation of an Alteration through the development and application of a planned approach to remove, destroy, contain or otherwise reduce availability of contaminants to receptors of concern, and to remove, destroy or contain safety hazards and includes monitoring required by a licence, permit or other authorization.

Remediate or “Remediation” shall mean, with respect to an Environmental Condition, the implementation and completion of any remedial, removal, response, construction, closure, disposal or other corrective actions required under Environmental Laws to correct or remove such Environmental Condition.

More Definitions of Remediate

Remediate means that DST has resolved a Security Exposure or Security Incident, such that the vulnerability no longer poses a risk to Fund Confidential Information.
