Remedial Measures definition

Remedial Measures means any measures or actions required or undertaken to investigate, monitor, clean up, remove, treat, prevent, contain or otherwise remediate the presence or Release of any Hazardous Substance.
Remedial Measures means any action, or combination of actions, including mitigating or interim measures to restore, rehabilitate or replace damaged natural resources and/or impaired services, or to provide an equivalent alternative to those resources or services as foreseen in Annex II;
Remedial Measures means the removal of a radiation source or the reduction of its magnitude (in terms of activity or amount) or the interruption of exposure pathways or the reduction of their impact for the purposes of avoiding or reducing doses that might otherwise be received in an existing exposure situation;

  • The Parties agree and acknowledge that a material breach by either party (hereinafter referred to as the “Defaulting Party”) of any of the undertakings made under this Agreement, or a material failure or delay in performance of any of its obligations under this Agreement, shall constitute a default under this Agreement and the Defaulting Party shall be entitled to require the Defaulting Party to rectify or Take Remedial Measures.

  • In the event the Facility contains any design or construction defects (“Defects”) that cause it to fail to meet any design, construction or Mechanical Completion standard in the Specifications or the Agreement, then Contractor shall, at no expense to Owner (except in the case of omitted equipment and materials, as provided in this Article 11), make (or cause to be made) the Remedial Measures necessary to remedy the Defects.

More Definitions of Remedial Measures

Remedial Measures shall have the meaning assigned to it in Section 11.3.1.
Remedial Measures means actions and measures intended to stop or control any unintended physical leakage or seepage of carbon dioxide, to restore the integrity of a geological storage site, or to restore long-term environmental quality significantly affected by a CCS project activity;
Remedial Measures means reasonable measures taken by any Party from any of whose Offshore Facilities a Discharge of Oil occurs, and of which such Party is the Operator, and by any Public Authority to prevent, mitigate or eliminate Pollution Damage following such Discharge of Oil or to remove or neutralize the Oil involved in such discharge, excluding however, well control measures and measures taken to protect, repair or replace any such Offshore Facility.
Remedial Measures means measures to address or remove the impediments; and
Remedial Measures means any measures, steps and actions required or undertaken to (A) investigate, monitor, clean up, remove, treat, contain, prevent, control or otherwise address any Release or threatened Release, or (B) achieve or maintain compliance with any applicable Environmental Law or Environmental Permit; and (vi) “Environmental Disclosure Requirement” means any laws requiring notification, prior to or as a result of the sale or transfer of an interest in real property, to either the buyer of real property or to any regulatory agency, of the presence, use, disposal or Release of Hazardous Substances at the real property to be sold or transferred.
Remedial Measures means such structural or non-structural measures, as may be required in relation to the specified dam or appurtenant strucutre or reservoir or reservoir rim or catchment area of reservoir for the purpose of removing or mitigating
Remedial Measures means Sewer Collection System improvements identified by the City for implementation, pursuant to Section V of this Consent Decree, to address condition- and/or capacity-related deficiencies within the Sewer Collection System. Remedial Measures include, but are not limited to, spot repairs, trenchless sewer rehabilitation, sewer replacement, and repair or reconstruction.
