The Regulated Subsidiaries are subject to liquid capital requirements under the Hong Kong Securities and Futures (Financial Resources) Rules (the “SF(FR)R”) adopted by the SFC.
Under the SF(FR)R, the Regulated Subsidiaries must maintain their liquid capital (assets and liabilities adjusted as determined by the SF(FR)R) in excess of HK$3 million or 5% of their total adjusted liabilities, whichever is higher.
